i admire all the work you did on this family search. I have often wanted to do something similiar but love writing fiction. I too am a Kentucky girl, although living in Ohio now.

This book is great! It makes you realize that senseless violence isn't just a product of today's society. Hopefully a sequel to let us know what happened to the family?
Prologue to A Garrard County Tragedy (Short Story) - 8/11/2002 8:55:46 PM
This story stirred many emotions in me and made me remember things about my own family that I hadn't thought about in years. Thank you! I've got to read more!

Superb! A nostalgic step in time. You are indeed very blessed to have had such a loving family. Memories are made to last forever. Pass the genealogy itch to your children. They'll never regret it! God Bless

I think it was a great story.
James Simpson and Mary Hill Simpson are my great grandparents. I'm doing research on the simpson and the Hill familys and would like more information if I could get it.
Who were James Simpsons brothers?
How many kids did James and Mary have and what were their names.
All in all I think the book is very good reading I couldn't put it down.
