WELL DONE! I CONCUR! Next, my 3 cents -
1. Bad News is what SELLS newspapers, and most of today's so-called journalism is not just merely SKEWED, but purposely propagandized by and for those 'special interest' groups!
2. when I want better, clearer, more succinct TRUTH in reporting, I watch the BBC's broadcasts on late night MPT, Maryland Public Television, Local CH.22.
3. I highly recommend that ALL Americans start watching more DOCUMENTARIES if they want truth and understanding, viz: THE CORPORATION, WHO KILLED THE ELECTRIC CAR, DEATH OF A PRESIDENT (this is really a MOCKumentary, but excellent), WHAT THE #$%^ DO WE KNOW?, THE CONTROL ROOM, WHY WE FIGHT, THE BUSH FAMILY FORTUNE, DEMOCRACY, THE BEST MONEY CAN BUY... and more, more, MORE (especially some done by MOORE).
In short, DOUG, Americans have been SPOON-FED more LIES than Carter's has Little Liver Pills, for about a GENERATION now. AMERICAN APATHY and LAZINESS have brought it upon us!
Again, great article! Tom.

This should be published and read by all journalists or those considering a career in journalism. Have you submitted this to any publications? An excellent article and I couldn't agree with you more.

What a well written piece! You hit this on the ol head. I would add my two cents to this.
It is this writers opinion, that the majority of journalist report in such a way as to show their political agenda. Reporting the news, is supposed to be just that. Like the old TV show, Dragnet, " The facts, maam, just the facts. I do not want nor need their skewing of the actually event based on what political party they support.
I applaud your article!!
