Parenting Easy? Not!! (Short Story) - 11/10/2007 8:39:49 AM
No it isn't easy; you can't even discipline your kids without getting the CPS involved (kids in school are given a number to the police or CPS if the parents even so much as raise a hand to them or threaten to discipline them); kids today are spoiled, unloving, unconsiderate brats who have no respect for authority. Sad! This is when discipline needs to be instituted!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :(

OH so true! And, are we on the same page tonight or what? I clicked my poem style story that I had to release, and then saw this lined up on the front page. It's so NOT easy, but it's SO worth it.
I LOVE the way you were UPfront with this story.
You're doing it right. :)
Thanks for sharing.

I hope many people see this poignant, piquant, and profound article. As a group, our biggest destruction comes from within families. You have shown how to build a better person and a stronger family unit ... by starting with the truth.
Warmest regards ...

You are so very talented Sis Kim. Sending you an eduational link on copyright. No one can take your material if you understand that what's yours on your comptuer and your files is evidence enough. Here in Authors Den it's been my experience that we all respect and trust each other. It's a very special place where we have learned to share from our hearts and as a result of that giving, not only are others touched and changed, but out of love and not fear, we as writers grow exponentially in ways we never imagined.
Watch for your messages dear sister, for that link on copyright law.

Kim I agree with Bob, this is quite complete as it is. And you are so right too. The truth knows no angles, no dirty tricks, it stands by itself, judged rightly or not, the truth is there. Thank you for sharing, Kim.

My dear young lady, these few short lines are quite complete in themselves. Ignorant of what there is to follow would in no way deter from what you have left us with.

Who Are You Really (Poetry) - 6/14/2007 8:55:15 AM
this is a very good piece of writing, one that should evoke thought and result in some interesting comments.
I like the layered meaning of this and especially that last couplet...whether it is looked at metaphorically or realistically, it is a powerful statement and question.

O, yes, Kim, you're going to stir us up here at AuthorsDen. Your words are provocative and a catalyst for change. And your insight is sharp and focused:
"How can you ask for peace globally?
When you don't even speak to your sister..."
Yes, I would read more from Kim Miller.
