Puh Leeze correct the oft repeated error that Darwin suggested we descended from apes. He said no such thing. He felt that primates, of which man is one, evolved from a common ancestor. We know now that this ancestor was likely a small rodent like creature living in trees. Gaps in the fossil record of human evolution remain incomplete but it is clear that we have indeed evolved and that our path has been shared by primate cousins. DNA studies confirm that humans and chimpanzees share some 98% of DNA and for me this is confirms that mankind is part of the animal kingdom that evolved on this planet without the need, or guidence from any supreme being.
