I Know Why The Aliens Don't Land! (Book) - 6/13/2009 7:04:26 PM
This seems to be down my alley. I might check this one out, but if anyone on here has ever had experience with supernatural, could you message me on here please? I'd like to talk to someone that's had encounters with something unexplainable. Thank you, *Chris*

I Know Why The Aliens Don't Land! (Book) - 2/18/2004 10:31:37 AM
"I Know Why the Aliens Don't Land" is a book I didn't really "get" as a whole until a few hours after finishing it. The connection among the autobiographical narrative, the interviews and the interspersed news bulletins eluded me most of the way through but then I decided it doesn't matter. I enjoyed it; laughed and cringed. The starkly honest, insightful and acerbic telling of the author's personal stories strike a difficult-to-achieve balance between humor and sorrow, inconceivable and uncomfortably familiar; said another way, a sharp kick right in the old breadbasket. I let the final pages wash over me as I struggled to understand them and, in my own way, I did perfectly.

Genius Anonymous Political Rant (Article) - 6/24/2005 3:18:28 PM
For anyone caring to hear the opposition, I invite you to read anything I've written on this website. In short, the South fought more for the right to representation and the North's habitual economic raping of the South than they did "slaves", which is such a vast over-simplification that it is difficult to believe that the people that assert it are the ones labeling their opposition as "simplistic", "backwater", etc. As far as the taxes go, I say great, kick us out -stop sending us your tax money, but you will find your expenditure decreases little. All of those up north who retire in the South (where they receive increasingly large amounts of these tax dollars in the form of liberal socialist "entitlements") will still get them. That's right, people from "the Northeastern Elite". When they retire, where do they go? Florida. Texas. California. Arizona. You will also find that your "blue blooded" society will have to grow a collective spine and join the military, since we will be taking all of the troops with us (another "drain" on your "Northeastern Elite" pocketbooks) and it will be your sons and daughters that will live with substandard wages and risk to life and limb to defend your country, and you can keep those dollars as well. Such rantings as these may be great for generating fanatic emotionalism, but they also promote the sort of one-sided ignorance that has become so prevalent in the United States. Personally, I'm glad that America allows for all opinions. And by the way, regarding those murder rates in the North -is Detroit in the north? Maybe my slow southern mind has mixed up the directions. At any rate, I found the read quite entertaining. I'll probably even show it to a few friends. Thanks for the read, David Ray

Peter Jennings Reporting: UFOs - Seeing Is Believing - Review & Retraction (Article) - 2/27/2005 4:35:08 PM
You weren't the only one disappointed by the show... I think George Noory's labeling of it as "Ufology 101" was correct. The Roswell segment infuriated me because the issue of alien bodies was completely sidestepped. That WAS the reason why there's so much division among people as to what exactly happened, and the show made it look like people were arguing over whether it was a balloon or not-- well, most military balloons don't explode over a wide area and scatter dead bodies! I believe in UFOs... but I sure don't believe in NASA or the military.

Voter Fraud Ain't Just For Russians (Article) - 2/5/2005 2:44:53 AM
And folks wonder why so many cynics abound in our country. Reality is few of the registered voters actually vote anymore, and fewer of the eligible even register. The past two elections have bee so close that whether my candidate won or not half of those who cast a vote voted for the other guy. No rousing mandates here at all. But, I will continue to cast my one little vote and believe that somehow it DOES make a difference.

They will issue exit visas for the people who want to leave this country. You will find that in some of the other countries you wish to go would ask you to step outside for writing an article like this and then you would never be heard from again. Appreciate this country while you are still in it. The grass is not greener on the other side.

Based on my research for my book, _The Women of Afghanistan Under the Taliban_, there were three countries involved in supporting the Taliban (who were more than tribesmen; they were also foreign nationals): Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emerites. Of course, you could say the U.S. indirectly supported the Taliban by supplying arms and/or funds to one of these three countries. Best wishes, R

Mybe you should have a "No making fun of the guest" clause when you do talk shows? That way you could take legal action if they violate the agreement, instead of just hanging up. (Why is it that the people who truly deserve anal probes never get them?)

We Move to the Left and We Move to the Right (Poetry) - 8/7/2006 11:47:56 AM
I like it it reeks of life. of life that doesn't realize anything. also the juxtaposition of needing love and the inability to love anything is great.

God is in the Details (Poetry) - 8/7/2006 11:45:36 AM
