You're after my own heart: as a Veteran, thank you for remembering the sacrifices paid by our men and women in uniform. Well done, Katrina.

LOL Hear ya, Katrina, I am not in it for the money. Although it would be nice...you've heard of poor, frustrated writers, right? I'm poor, but not frustrated. At least, not yet...........LOL My twin sis, Karen Lynn, is both. :( Oh, well, just keep writing, I'll keep reading. Well done!
(((HUGS))), love and Merry Christmas, Karla. *StormSpinner*

O my sister,
It brings me such joy to my heart to see you here!!!
I have been plagued with computer problems these past three weeks and am just now gaining access to my e-mail...271 to go thru...bear with me as i sift thru and and begin my reply's.
I remember this one when you came out in june, but it did not touch me like it did today. As tears welled up I can only say: God bless you dear sister...I love you more than words can say!
p.s. I'll be sending you my new e-mail adress since I had to change providers and get a new system. so be looking for it! Love your lil Bro Jesse

This is a lovely poem with so much feeling, and I see that you have writen it as a dedication, which gives much more to the true meaning of compasion, and it comes straight from the heart. I too have written a short children's story dedicated to the children who lost their lives in Beslan, who so many seemed to have forgotten. On this occasion I decided to write a little story and not a poem. I have not as yet sent it for publishing, as I don't think it's marketable work.
Please feel free to visit my website if you can spare the time.
Kind regards, Louisa
