I believe people transition so that others can live. Thank you for sharing such a lovely and touching poem, with words full of wisdom....and thank you for directing me to your page. England I'm Coming Home (Poetry) - 12/29/2008 7:55:06 AM
This is a very good emotional, and heartfelt poem. I lived in Autralia for 8½ months, and felt that was home, because the people there just go about their business, and don't bother anyone, unless they are bothered. I had to come back to the states tho because of severe medical problems, because I had to pay for everything in Oz. I wish you very well in going back to your birthright. We all deserve to live where we feel at home, and alive. I could smell the lavender gardens, feel the wind in my hair driving down a country road, I could see myself having a Devonshire tea, and talking about the queen. I could actually see the little country cottages that dots the English landscape. That is how bright, and visible your images in this poem are. Thank you for sharing. Happy New Year to you and yours Mariann. May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love and who love you, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your den sister, Barbie

AMERICA CHANGE HAS COME (Poetry) - 12/29/2008 7:42:36 AM
I agee too Mariann. Please read my popem Our Trust In Him, about Barack Obama's victory. I believe he will bring the change we so desperately need in this country. He has a big mess to clean up though, and I feel that through his resolve he will do it. Also you are so right too. Even though he has been said to have made history as the first black president elect, I believe in the man and what he stands for. Country singer Aaron Tippin sings a song called You've Got To Stand For Something, and Barack Obama is standing up for change in America that will brighten our future. Hail To The Chief.
