Wise advice, Melinda. Sometimes when I close my eyes it seems as though I can feel time flowing past my face like a breeze. Thank you. Love and best wishes,

The Facade (Poetry) - 1/30/2008 3:07:49 AM
What a haunting piece. I was captivated by the line "this person with my eyes looking out from a reflection unknown." That was absolutely chilling. You write with a relentless realness that pervades each line of verse. I look forward to reading more of your work.
The Facade (Poetry) - 8/8/2007 6:49:10 PM
A soul-grabbing write, Melinda; most compelling and meaningful. A lot of us wear masks or hide behind "façade" because we choose to. You had no choice. Thank you. Love and blessings to you,
Regis

Dearest Melinda
Thank you for sharing your deepest feelings, describing so well what our bodies we are called Changing Impersonal Phenomenons. Let’s live from the inside out despite it all.

Heart shaking~Understandable often one thing is given up for something that at times may seem greater. However, it is a true blessing that you have went inside of yourself and discovered all the treasures that have long awaited for the unfolding.
Peace and blessings to you,
From the Heart...
The Facade (Poetry) - 7/20/2007 8:04:51 AM
I'm at a loss for words. This is quite touching and even though no one can truly know how you are/were felling this defiantly helps. Thank you. Truth be True- Lyndsey
The Facade (Poetry) - 7/20/2007 7:51:51 AM
A wonderful testament to the willingness to explore one's own experiences and insights. I had a dear friend who was diagnosed with advanced systemic sclerosis when she was in college and as the outward signs of the disease manifested themselves, we who had known her from before stayed close to her, recalling who she was and that the shadow that had fallen upon her was not her. Thank you for sharing this.
Time Is All We Have (Poetry) - 7/19/2007 6:26:36 PM
One people under God
Not nation, or nationality
Religion or faith.
Humanity is eternal
Divinity is connection
Time is all we have.
I think that your verses express great wisdom that gives pause for thought and reflections, Melinda. Thank you. Love and peace,

Excellent poem, Melinda. I especially liked the stanza with "those who passed before us."
