Consolidation for Homeland Security, Headaches for Preservationists (Article) - 4/14/2009 5:16:17 AM
Good Article, interesting and Well written, I have suggestion that would save the tax payers a fortune. How about we move Congress and the Executive Branch to the Mental Institution and use the Capitol Building and The White House to house Home Land Security instead.

You do have a point, lost feeling of where they have been and where they might be going. Along with the wishes of seeing you soon.

Social Security's Most Wanted: Fugitive Felons (Article) - 10/31/2007 7:08:27 AM
Yesterday, the Mental Health Project of the Urban Justice Center
released "Social Insecurity; How the Social Security Administration's
'Fugitive Felon Program' Harms Disabled, Retired, and Poor Americans,"
available at
http://www.urbanjustice.org/pdf/projects/Social_Insecurity_10_07.pdf.
The report blasts SSA for terminating the benefits of thousands of
harmless people under the guise of law enforcement.

Up Close and Personal (Article) - 6/25/2007 11:28:25 AM
I enjoyed this article! It is an excellent reminder of the joys, freedoms, and privileges ... too many Americans take for granted.
change comes to the valley (Article) - 5/7/2007 5:46:47 AM
Great little article. Reminds me of the little town I grew up in, (sort of.) My grandmother lived there. Mims Florida is seldom seen on most Florida maps, but it's quaint and full of history. I was once a feature writer for the Daytona Beach News Journal. Much of my writing centers around the history of Florida. Oh and my daughter is married to a lawyer and they live in Maryland. He works in the district for the IRS, that place we all love. I intend to read more of your stuff. Look me up on the den.

East Side Story (Article) - 3/14/2006 7:21:57 AM
Where do I find the story? Much as I tried, I came back to the same intro saying "How a family outing..." -just a few words!

Oh Really? The Great Wine Hope (Article) - 12/6/2005 5:28:47 PM
This tickled me. They'll try to sell us anything and some of us will buy it in our quest for eternal youth. I think you should get ready for vinoaromatherapy. I saw wine scented candles in the local Borders Bookstore last night. Delightful article. Thank you. ~~Nordette

A Herd Mentality (Article) - 7/14/2005 4:35:18 PM
I agree, very well written. As for the subject, I seem to have a problem with anyone who only sees in black and white, or spends two hours a night on ebay instead of Authors Den ;-) Thanks for an entertaining article.
Social Security's Most Wanted: Fugitive Felons (Article) - 7/14/2005 4:21:36 PM
Nicely written article, and thanks for sharing the news. There truly are many people in this country who want the sick and the elderly dead so they don't have to think about them or take care of them. I wonder how it feels to be so miserable?
Down by the River (Article) - 5/26/2005 8:02:02 AM
