Why Affirmations Don't Work (Article) - 2/24/2008 7:21:34 AM
Actually, Louise Hay was a mockingbird for the theoretical principles already put into play in 1925 by Florence Scovel Shinn. Louise used copyrighted words from The Game of Life and How to Play it (http://www.amazon.com/Game-Life-Hay-House-Classics/dp/1401907962/ref=si3_rdr_bb_product) and put them into her own new-old brand of theories and called them "a secret," reselling Florence's thoughts just as the book would have been coming from under the 75-year copyright laws required by the US Copyright office. These affirmations didn't work when Florence talked about them, and they still don't work now--and it's because the only thing that has ever worked is "the luck of the draw."
Some of us are going to have it (material things and abundance in life) because things fall in place and work out that way, whether we can explain it or not. The rest of us will not have it like that because "things" will never fall into place, no matter what we do, think, or believe.

Excellent article, Zhana! I am one of the successful writers. It all takes a lot of hard work and I share with my fans and audience my success story and day to day positive motivation. Nothing has been handed to me. I have worked for years to achieve my dream. Thanks for sharing, Zhana.

The Blood (Poetry) - 8/2/2007 10:32:08 AM
This captured the biblical new testament book of James so well when it comes to how we use the breath in our souls to speak, as we choose, to bless or bring woes. For the Spirit guides our spirits, this is why poetry is so very important in helping others get their balance back in this life so full of paradox. That's where The One Faith kicks in, This is a great "offering" to this page and to this website. Hope to see more and more from "Poet _Zhana"
blessin's, glad to "read" you.

The Blood (Poetry) - 9/21/2005 4:03:30 AM
A very powerful emotional write of heritage. I greatly applaud the choice of words used in this poem. It made me feel the pain and I was right there with you and your people, mentally sharing the pain you received.
Wonderful powerful write indeed!

The title grabbed me. I'm glad it did. This is poetry with depth. Many rich layers, asking profound questions that answering can only lead to healing and inner growth. If it's any consolation I
"...see the eyes
That have held back a million tears..."
and a woman with wisdom and beauty.

This is indeed a most compelling write but it is done so beautifully and I feel the power of it like La Belle says in my heart as well.
