with great imagination, a young boy's adventure into his grandfather's house to a the magical world through
a gateway to new worlds.
As Max and his friend discover the gateway, they begin to understand the mystery and danger of life attempting to reconcile
reconcile as they transverse through the gateway, to worlds beyond. As Max our hero, unravels a wonderful plot, Todd
Cocrane touches upon adolescent curiosity and interest through imaginative and interesting constructs. I was
well entertained reading this book and would recommend it to the warrior in every teen.

i thought that this book was magnifecent. all the sentences and paragraphes were well put in to the book i would much like to get my own copy someday of this magnifecent book!

Max and Cindy are typical kids - a little careless and with more courage than they know. This story takes them from the lives they've known to adventure and struggle. Mr. Cochrane has a knack for making events believable, both in the realistic scenes on Earth and far away. I thought the various creatures were marvellous. It's a good read!

I am a grandparent and thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I highly recommend it for anyone, who likes to read a fun story. It is geared for the youth and once they read it they will want more stories about Max. I especially liked the fact that there is nothing adults or children will find to offend. The story is very imaginative and the characters and setting are relevant to things of today. Plus, it is easy to follow all that happens. Read it and be entertained!

My son and I both read the book and we loved it. My son thought it was awesome and told all his friends about it. The story gets you hooked right from the beginning and holds you to the very end. I recommend it to all age groups.

I have a friend whose eleven year-old daughter read this book and she loved it! I have read it myself and I was very impressed with it. Intriging story, good characters and very entertaining. I look forward for the sequel.
