Ever Wonder about ... Your Bookshelf (Short Story) - 1/27/2009 3:25:31 PM
Interesting story, Richard. You must have a vivid imagination. It reminds me of "Babes in Toyland." I don't know how old you are, but the toys came alive after the children were asleep. I guess that dates me. LOL. Good job! KJ Jacobs

Ever Wonder about .... Starflakes? (Short Story) - 12/15/2008 9:33:21 AM
I was searching for a story to read to my daughter's 5th grade class, and this was the most creative take on snow falling. We live in an area that might get snow once a year, and not even last a week. Today it's snowing, and this was perfect. Thankyou for such a fun take on snow.

Spring (rev.1) (Poetry) - 3/30/2009 5:20:44 AM
I like this simple poem about Spring. It leaves no illusions, yet is full of hope...Spring indeed IS coming! Your phrases are unique...I like "winter's tanned grass"..."sun-starved skin"..."winter's blue-iced grip"...best one--"crocuses crack still iced plots"...there are an abundance, and I enjoyed reading them and picturing the wonderful process that takes place in March! Connie

I love this poem, it's been over a hundred or close to it for weeks here and this just was a refreshing break. Made me long for winds in the pines and glistening snow! So beautiful.
