Nothing in this world compares to joy of knowing our Daddy is now Daddy to one of ours. I had the privilage of this same experience with my mother after my step father died, during a visit to cheer her up, she asked me to take her to church to meet the Jesus that she said, she saw in me, never a bigger compliment did I recieve, nor blessing get, as when my mom went down that aisle got on her knees, like a child and accepted Jesus. Great testimony and poem. Rock

A wonderful portrait you have painted here with your endearing words....
Sweet Sleep (Poetry) - 9/10/2007 9:16:14 AM
This lovely verse hits me personally, Wendy.
My father died when I was but four years old, so I have few real memories of my time with him. But one memory is as indelible in my mind as if it occurred last night: In my bed at night with my father kneeling bedside and teaching me the prayer, "Now, I lay me down to sleep."
What a loving gift you bring to your son: "I'll sing to your heart all Jesus said."
For me, Sweet Sleep is a powerful example and speaks clearly of a devoted mother's love.
Great work, Wendy.

Indeed it was to save His masterpiece, His own creation, with His own blood.
