Is War an Option? (Poetry) - 7/13/2010 1:06:56 PM
WOW, LOVELY POEM. WITH STRONG WORDS AND MESSAGE. IN MY EYES WAR IS NEVER AN OPTION, TOO MANY INNOCENT PEOPLE DIE. THEN AFTERWARDS YOUR LEFT WITH MORE PROBLEMS, UNREST, HOMELESSNESS, POVERTY, BROKEN FAMILIES ETC. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK. I'M NEW TO AUTHORS DEN AND MY DEN WILL BE COMPLETE OVER THE COMING WEEKS. CHECK IT OUT SOMETIME.

Another Year! (Poetry) - 12/13/2008 7:02:50 PM
Hello Chijike,
Very timely and strongly worded poem! "May Providence open closed doors and seal all openings where inhumanity will pop up.." is a prayer we all need to say. All of us need to start with ouselves and another year will be better for the world.

Memories (Poetry) - 11/21/2008 6:30:06 AM
Beautiful colorful memories never fade, they come back again and agin. Color of tears, never think tears are weakness, they are releases of our sadness. Memories abide even after death, believe me I know and marble is hard, so is grieiving and getting over our lost memories. Never forget the good ones, but leave the bad ones connectedly behind.

Obama: The Rare One! (Poetry) - 11/3/2008 8:21:37 AM
Very moving tribute to Obama, whom I support. I love that you have captured the truth that he speaks to many in a deeper way than any leader has at least during my memory-frame.
Obama: The Rare One! (Poetry) - 11/2/2008 1:48:31 PM
I am not an Obama supporter, but you have honored him well with this write, nothing to do with political views but the man himself, excellent, my friend.
Life is not a Promise (Poetry) - 10/31/2008 10:17:28 AM
Reminds me of how the Saints were driven and full of zeal for the Lord. One must have a goal in their quest to succeed and if we enlighten one mind, who can call us a failure.
But One Day. (Poetry) - 7/8/2008 3:29:05 AM
And the good is oft interred with the bones. It doesn't have to be that way as much good can be done in our life time be you rich or poor, reach out and help some one as you have shown with your life's struggle against injustice.
The Raped Queen. (Poetry) - 6/28/2008 5:30:55 PM
"...As she lays legs wide and open
Like a dirty mad woman
As she graons of pains and bully
Gang raped by her own crazy sons..."
Heavy totally the personifications are remarkable, not to mention well written presentation, thank you for sharing.
Sincerely,
~Gwendolyn
Why? (Poetry) - 6/28/2008 5:28:38 PM
"...Why is conscience too voiceless
Speaking too loud to be heard outside
As victims and casualties increase by the day
Dividing...''Why?"
A question that ponders and digs deep for answers in my heart on a daily basis, looking to the heavens.
Sincerely,
~Gwendolyn

Is War an Option? (Poetry) - 6/28/2008 1:15:38 AM
War could be an option but the not the best one. It is sometimes called a necessary evil which should be carried out only when it is absolutely necessary. But in the case of sister Zimbabwe war is not an option. It will be the killing of a nation, sort of Somalia, if Zimbabwe goes to war with itself. Well done
Is War an Option? (Poetry) - 6/16/2008 9:05:42 PM
Strong words, yet war is an option. It is an option that should be reserved for the very last, when all else has been tried and failed. It should never be used as a tool of power, as all humanity is at stake because of it....
Be always safe,
Karen
Why? (Poetry) - 6/8/2008 9:41:12 PM
This is a question that needs to be answered, it is true. It is frightening when it seems these days so many seem to not have consciences. You are an excellent writer, my friend.
You Cursed My Brothers; Now What! (Poetry) - 6/8/2008 9:39:31 PM
I will never understand racism or belittling and judging others-you have showed here the ignorance of that type of thinking.
Unworthy (Poetry) - 6/8/2008 9:37:38 PM
You are so right here-I confess to liking animals more than people most of the time, lol.

You Cursed My Brothers; Now What! (Poetry) - 9/20/2007 5:37:09 PM
Let he who is without blemish cast the first stone.
It's easier to beat-up on others than to look within ourselves.
Well written,
Kathy
