Rutting Begins (Short Story) - 11/29/2009 3:04:33 PM
Strong write Vick that transcends the ordinary in space and time. The picture is another that is strinking in it's character. fee

Rutting Begins (Short Story) - 11/29/2009 10:24:58 AM
Vickie, I thought 'Ocean Front',was EROTIC. . This is a new Victoria! You take us on a journey, wave after wave of 'Erotic Pleasure,' in the woods. . Better than BEST!! As Always, DeB

Rutting Begins (Short Story) - 11/29/2009 9:26:39 AM
Rich with metaphor after metaphor, Rutting Begins is the highest form of lesbian erotica that I have read in this paganistic lesbian genre... Victoria L. McColley gives lesbian erotica its name in untraditional equivalent to the pagan lesbian erotica writings of Firebrand Sage Sweetwater, in awe of the Goddess. Victoria L. McColley is continually sharpening her spiritual, sexual and intellectual tools to embrace lesbian consciousness, and she does so through the art of shapeshifting and lesbian sexual witchery. Victoria has emerged her sexuality through garden and wilderness... Rutting Begins is the mating journey motif. It serves literal and metaphorical functions in today's New Age Lesbian Spirituality. It provides an intelligent means of recovering the Source of feeling offering access to a reality open and simultaneous exploration of being a woman. This piece is highly valued as art rich in mythology inherent with memories which leads the artist Victoria L. McColley consciously to metamorphosis, as well as fresh in individual focus. I find a homecoming in language with the words uttered, realized in awe and celebration of women's spirituality and sexuality. I give this review to the highest degree in access of our community...[Sage Sweetwater, Celebrity Firebrand Lesbian Novelist]

I really like this. We must be kindred spirits, as I am also a great wanderer of nearly forgotten cemeteries. Such a feeling to them. So quiet, as if the dead hush their surroundings. Very nice. I will have to read more.

Holystones (Short Story) - 9/13/2009 12:14:01 PM
In solitude we find this and all there ever was. I am humble to witness this place you have taken the reader to in this piece. And in solitude have dwelled in the wound of despare, stroking it's scar and accepting it's fate, cultivating the birth of wisdom. Thanks Vicky for this wonderful expression.

Ocean Front (confection two) (Short Story) - 9/2/2009 7:44:44 PM
The most erotic, sensual poem I read, first time, in my life. Wow, it is hot and stunningly beatuful. I am speachless, all I can say I wish I was there... :) Thanks for sharing, Love, Ankin

Ocean Front (confection two) (Short Story) - 9/2/2009 12:46:05 PM
WOW! I'm kinda speechless Victoria. This is as real as it gets. It actually gave me a surge of hope for the dismal world of poetry! I read both of the confections three times, and each time the layers and nuances of interplay blossomed a little bit more. The characters seem uncannily real as the feelings and expressions develop and envelope the reader. And I love how your friend set the scene. I could visualize every stroke of the brush like it was a movie. I'll have to admit, in all honesty, that it's, by far, the best romantic scene that I've ever read anywhere. This may well be your masterwork! Brava! Blessings ...

Ocean Front (Short Story) - 9/2/2009 8:43:05 AM
Lovely images and emotions within this story/poem. I love the music and the tender love/passion within your words, nicely collaborated. Peace, love, and light, Amber "V"

The Shadfly (Article) - 10/10/2009 5:32:22 AM

you have done your research well here Vickie, and your cinquain poetry is as good as any I have seen -- and yet, after many attempts over many years on my part, to thoroughly understand and enjoy, the style always leaves me asking, why? -- why would I want to write in this limiting style? -- perhaps the answer lies in my limited ability -- peace and love my dear friend -- Jon Michael
