Still listening to my cassette I taped from LP twenty years ago. Best song I have ever heard. Brings me back to the past each time I listen.

Louise, Grand Duchess of Baden: 'A model sovereign princess' (Article) - 7/8/2002 9:31:35 PM
A lot of information, well presented, except for the title tagline which appears faulty. Even though I knew nothing of these personages, I found the article interesting. Gina

Absolutely fantastic. A song that captures true life and true emotion. I will always think of this song as one of the most romantic ever written.

Hound Tor - thank you for taking me here, to this unheard of place (-: I shall paint the vision of the bracken.

You have the envious ability to set "place" vividly. This one paints the seasons in the mind of the reader.

The music of the moor is a strange and melodic tune that is playing in your heart. How wonderful your senses are flooded with all the nostalgic scenery. Bill Murray

Spring at Hembury Woods, Devon (Poetry) - 5/6/2002 6:54:10 AM
A painting so vivid I can see it before my eyes, as well as hear it. "Proud blackbirds" indeed. Where I grew up we had JayHawkers that rioted the oaks, with always a CatBird atop to espy the local cat popolation. Makes me want to visit the land of my ancestors. My mother swears we are decended from Alfred the Great. I rather doubt that. However, one of the lesser royals (perhaps a bastard son) could be lurking high up my family tree. One never knows.
