30 Day Program to Jump Start Book Sales (Article) - 5/28/2008 4:04:01 PM
Dear Sarah,
Another good one! You're going to be one of my favorites.
Isn't this the truth..."This is the draw. This isn’t about pushing your book. This is about educating others. If you do a good job, the attendees will want to know more about you and likely feel compelled to check out your material." Unfortunately, it's hard to be a prophey in your own back yard. Making it about others is the key.
Thanks,
Ron Karcz

Dear Sarah,
Great advice! I loved this piece.
By the way, I used to live on Chinook Pass...pretty close to you except for a few hills and gullies.

Giving (and receiving) Critical Feedback (Article) - 1/18/2008 7:24:27 AM
I found this article gives excellent advice, particularly about the difficult to accept concept of 'convention'. When I give advice to new writers I tell them that there are no rules in writing, but there are accepted conventions which they had better demonstrate to agents, editors and publishers that they understand.
The subject is vast and as you say, would take years to explain to the uninitiated.
Thank you.

Your question sounds forth the standard that God has written onto the tablet of our hearts, and by His Spirit,in His name, we're able.
What a precious gift today is. Tomorrow may never come for us in this life-time, and the past is passed, but God gives us the roses for today.
Superbly done Sarah!

Sarah,
I am so impressed with this poem. What depth and feeling and a keen ability to communicate the emotions that we regularly deal with.

Yes, you need not even question yourself on this. But presenting it to us this way has made us think too whether we will be one of his people too. We all need a turn a round in our life to think of others, help others, find ourselves as needing the Lord and helping make a better world for others too.
Will I? (Poetry) - 6/29/2008 7:55:18 AM
Yes you will. Yes you are.

I think you will be one, if you aren't already. Everything is well said. Great job.

Hi Sarah, this is a very good poem.People should always enjoy the moment and live in the now.Life is too short to argue about things that are completely irrelevant in this world.Keep up the good work
