Hello Nancy, I read your poem,"Wild Oats". I liked the style it was written in re; meandering freely like a horse would on the prairie. Cute and well done. Best of luck with your writing. Please feel free to visit my site here in the "Den"

Nature in the wild is so fascinating to watch and I love to see deer in my cousin's back yard. I am an animal lover and love nature too. Love snow and this write brings winter back to me again even though we are in Spring here. Hope you had a camera to take photo of it.

Tadpoles (Poetry) - 6/6/2008 8:49:45 AM
Used to have those tadpoles when young and went to My father's hunting lodge where there was a lake with a spring at it. I thought they were so cute. Have not seen a frog in a long while, they seem to be scarce now.

Have a daughter who loves horses and could pick out a photo of a horse when she was very very small from a book. She collects them now. I won one at a carnival, a stuffed one last May. She loved it. Quite a collection she has now. This poem brings me memories of times I went visiting people who have goats, donkey's and horses. I am truly an animallover too.
