A Goat Named Sam (Poetry) - 2/18/2014 12:00:54 PM
Good one! Goats can be good pets. Had a neighbor who kept them in his mobile home. One night one of his Billies tried to get into my house. Quite a hand full! Thanks, Jan

The Redemption of Little Joe! (Poetry) - 1/19/2013 4:18:40 AM
A marvelous story, and Hooray for Little Joe. If only many more would heed your advice, and save one.

Best rap I ever read. If everyone could just save one is a mighty fine challenge. More people need to read and comment on this. Ron

My Wife (Poetry) - 1/28/2011 9:32:11 PM
I can understand! I've lived with my bride for 44 years and the only problem I have now is this: One of us must pass away before the other. That will be gross! rege

Hi R.T. Your wonderful poem brings back memories of a Beagle called Tango that we had many years ago. Nothing like animals to make you smile. Cheers! Liz

My Wife (Poetry) - 8/26/2008 8:52:33 AM
This is such a romantic tribute which you have written to your wife. You have obviously found true love, as you describe her with "raven hair", but most importantly, that she was there to "quell your fears." I can sense your love and admiration that you have for your wife, especially as you said that God has enriched your life by being blessed with the gift of your wife. Stop into my authors den sometime, and let me know what you think of my works.

Nostalgia's Twinge (Poetry) - 8/26/2008 8:49:50 AM
Such a beautiful poem. It made my heart skip a beat. Since I have been on this site since June, I am still fairly new. Take a walk into my authors den, and let me know what you think of some of my poetry and short stories.

In Praise of a Horse (Poetry) - 7/14/2008 8:57:18 AM
Do runt that race, win the prize money, go to your place in the sun, fame and fortune abounds soon. I feel it in my heart.

Immediately reminded me of the folklore about John Henry. A good write that flowed off the tongue with ease, while exemplifying one of the bones in the skeleton of unsung American heros.

My Wife (Poetry) - 12/13/2007 9:40:28 PM
