Hi R.T.
There is something about horses. For me they are a rung above all other animals. Cheers! Liz

Hi R.T.
Your wonderful poem brings back memories of a Beagle called Tango that we had many years ago. Nothing like animals to make you smile. Cheers! Liz

This is such a romantic tribute which you have written to your wife. You have obviously found true love, as you describe her with "raven hair", but most importantly, that she was there to "quell your fears." I can sense your love and admiration that you have for your wife, especially as you said that God has enriched your life by being blessed with the gift of your wife. Stop into my authors den sometime, and let me know what you think of my works.

Such a beautiful poem. It made my heart skip a beat. Since I have been on this site since June, I am still fairly new. Take a walk into my authors den, and let me know what you think of some of my poetry and short stories.

Wonderful wife you have. Glad you told us so much about her. But there must be more to her even. Such a good write. Keep her with you always and do good to her.

Do runt that race, win the prize money, go to your place in the sun, fame and fortune abounds soon. I feel it in my heart.

Immediately reminded me of the folklore about John Henry. A good write that flowed off the tongue with ease, while exemplifying one of the bones in the skeleton of unsung American heros.
