I dislike basketball...but I like this story. Maybe because it is set in one of my favorite places in the universe, Kmart...maybe because of the author, I dunno. But for whatever reason, it's a good tale, and you certainly have a way with characters:-)
Might wanna look at some of the spellings though, coupla typos like Suburu for Subaru, missing letters, etc.

I like this almost as much as I like your meat loaf *smiles* or your mom's meat loaf.
And one must ALWAYS play with one's food-squishing it between the fingers is of course de rigeur, and pork fat naturally rules.
