How God Spared a Farmer Boy! (Short Story) - 4/2/2009 6:58:33 AM
I always find it interesting to hear others' stories of divine intervention. I am certain that when we can see "the whole picture" of our lives that we will see hundreds and thousands of times that the Lord and/or his angels intervened to rescue us from harm. I know of several such instances in my own life or in the life of my children... Thanks for sharing your testimony of this with us. Cryssa P.S. Linda Law, a fellow author on AD, has written/compiled two books filled with instances of divine intervention, etc. Check her out if you haven't already...

Does The True God Speak With A Voice? (Article) - 3/16/2009 6:13:00 AM
GOD does speak...many to busy to hear. His voice is in the mountains, the rivers and the trees! I hear him in the music of the birds song, the rain and the flowers. His gentle voice calms me when fear arrives. Thank you for this posting! Love and sunshine, CarolHawks

Does The True God Speak With A Voice? (Article) - 7/16/2008 2:45:06 AM
Hello Zach, Yes God spoke with an audible voice but so does the devil, and he can always mislead us by DUPLICATING the audio bit, and a lot of new religions have sprung up using THIS leverage. Sadly, many who do not feed on the Word of God, are blind victims of these false prophets. In the New Testament, God spoke HIS LAST WORD: JESUS CHRIST. Anyone today can say God spoke to him in a "voice" and you cannot refute that unless what he tells you AFTER THAT is in line with the truth....again GOD'S WORD. We are threading on dangerous grounds if we even entertain these "delusions" and LIES. It has even been used to bleed congregations of money (PTL) when preachers say "I heard God tell me you should give me a million dollars RIGHT NOW!" It has happened, and the whole of Christianity is still reeling from that scandal. In the Philippines, we have a preacher who claims God spoke to him and told him AUDIBLY "that you are My Appointed Son" and he has the largest "church" in Asia and the Middle East....and he knows the whole Bible too. How does one discern the truth from error? "BY THEIR FRUIT YOU SHALL KNOW THEM..." Just watch them on TV and you'll know. Cynthia

Does The True God Speak With A Voice? (Article) - 5/7/2008 11:16:56 AM
a metaphysical perspective... creator (god) energy is of such high frequencies: sound, light, and dimension the common human being (one that has not done the inner work on themselves to be physically enlightened) would be nearly blinded or deafened and physically ill by such an appearance - the physical body (our 3rd dimension) would be vibrated at a more than uncomfortable level, literally the human beings internal atoms and molecules in severe vibration. Also, this is why the boundaries...the mere presence of such intensity upon our planet - would create thunder, lightening, and clouds an affect upon the electromagnetic fields displaced by the intensity, and this higher dimension would physically eat/use up the surrounding energy of everything in its proximity to sustain a 3rd dimensional image and presence...and until the human being becomes "christ-like" it will not be able to physically enjoy the visition of god externally...now as for maintaining a conversation with god internally...that's a whole other story :)

I know God speaks through his word and thank you kindly for putting it in writing for us and taking the time to quoteso many verses. My cousin Donna Goodling is reading the bible in a year's time and is doing it each day. I did that before too. So did my Mother. I hear God and see him in nature and when the thunder comes it is God's angels bowling.

The First Verse of The Bible- What it Means to You- (Article) - 4/24/2008 3:58:56 PM
Great write! The white king in Alice through the Looking Glass said, "start at the beginning, then go on to the end, and then stop."-- Good words to live on too. Bible mentality is a good basis for all things. --Charlie

Basic...I like that...Such simplicity spoken in your article, and yet it holds the key to pretty much everything in life. But...not sure I completely agree with everything you said about adoption...but most likely I see that from a different perspective due to my circumstances and life experiences with it. Cryssa :~)

The First Verse of The Bible- What it Means to You- (Article) - 4/24/2008 8:41:48 AM
Great Write Zach! Amen and AMEN! ...And in the Beginning "was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God, and the Word became Flesh and Dwelt among us." That is why the Bible is the essence of God, for the Word of God is alive, powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword. We are a beacon of Light and a city set on a hill to proclaim the truth of God's Word and Light; to chase out darkness; and to usher in the repentative heart to the foot of calvery's cross. As it was in the beginning... Be Blessed, Brother Pete

Good old Scrooge, who could forget him at Chistmas time. And forfeit his ways, no way, good story but unusual poetry.

At Christmas Time (Poetry) - 11/23/2009 1:53:34 PM
Yes, I love this 'old fashion poetry' style. "Bring it back I say" There are so many new-style poets who have simply just gone and lost their poetic-plot, have you noticed? And I think we are sorely missed. But we're making a comeback huh? I myself write this limerick way a lot! except on occasions. Great poem. great theme, great button keypad guns. Steve merry xmas/

Winter Again (Poetry) - 10/22/2009 8:26:33 AM
I love it! My friends often ask me -- Why did you leave Florida and move to Minnesota. I tell them, "It never snows in Florida!" I love the seasons -- all of them! Your poem describes it perfectly. You have just become one of my favorite authors.

Why? (Poetry) - 10/22/2009 8:17:19 AM
Isn't this the TRUTH! I never ask Why -- not even when my own 14 yr-old daughter was hit by a fully loaded log truck while she rode her horse along side a country road. They were struck. The horse died instantly. She lay in a coma for 20 days before she suffered a massive stroke and then died. I have seen more miracles come from her death and I have seen God's glorius work through her. I have been truly blessed. Not WHY -- but I understand!

Until They Find A Cure (Poetry) - 10/22/2009 8:11:54 AM
This poem, I love! It reminds me of someone who might be in a coma until the doctors can find out what is wrong with them and if a cure can not be found -- then that is OK too. This is well written. It reminds me of a song called "Comfortably Numb" by the Rolling Stones.

Twinkling Of His Eye (Poetry) - 10/22/2009 8:08:28 AM
A little over the top for me and I write spiritual poetry. There are many ill people who I think would feel insulted by this poem. However; saying that, I do believe that having "faith" is a key ingredient to GOOD Health and a long life. But to say one can "live forever" is a bit foolish, and the way life is today -- who would want to?
