Yes, they never know what they have until we are gone-then it is too late. He will see what he had!! Good luck, my friend. He looks a bit like Enrique Iglesias!

I have traveled a long road and am learning to walk with God as we are too precious in his sight to allow ourselves to be used by men. Patience and wisdom to not walk down those roads that have a dead end is what I'm working on. Someone's out there for you, never settle. Deborah

If it was meant to be my friend it will happen. Life is funny that way. I definitely believe that there is someone out there for everyone. One that takes your breath away and makes your heart throb. No, men are not all the same. At times it may seem so but we are all different. May You get your hearts true desire and all the Peace, Love and Blessings that You Deserve, Always Paul.

Death and Pain (Poetry) - 4/1/2008 2:21:17 AM
"Emotion in a blender", a powerful line. Death is inevidable. It's also a painful reality to accept. Great piece.

My father left when I was 3 years of age. He appeared on and off over the years but never committed to family life. He's a worthless drunk___sorry to say. I know how you feel:(

...poetry of sadness...and of a girl lost...times when not found...sees the reality...and her pen perhaps speaks of...somewhere...hope.
wishes of light...with hope to be granted...

Your anguish is clear, but as we grow older there is a time when we must let go and begin living for ourselves. Unfortunately many children are without fathers and the reasons vary, but it is necessary for one to survive to move forward....

I found your poem very sad and heart wrenching. Having three daughters and always making myself available to them I could never picture walking away or turning my back on any of them. They're all grown up and married now but still we have a very special bond and they know that I'm here if they ever need me. That's what makes this so sad to read. As the old saying goes,"anyone can be a father but not everyone can be a dad." Peace, Love and Blessings Always, Paul.

It's never easy to get over someone you love. Although, there's a time for grieving and a time for living. Peace, Love and Blessings, Paul.
