The Unfathomable Vastness of God. (Book) - 1/29/2008 11:48:12 PM
Religion Part –2 The impossibilities have been achieved through science. Emerson says : “Science surpasses the old miracle of mythology.” As we know that man is the cruelest beast ever created by nature. The race of mankind is extremely selfish. Wordsworth,s heart is grieved to think “what man has made of man.” What charm is there in such an existence.? At the very end, we are bound to say, the role of education in national development is utmost importance.Civilization is a slow process. Man has achieved civilization after the struggle of centuries.Man lived a scattered life. But today the condition is changed. We conclude that Not gold, but only men can make, A people great and strong, Men who for truth and honour,s sake, Stand fast and suffer long. Brave men who work while other sleep, Who dare while others fly. They build a nation,s pillars deep, And lift them to the sky.” A man with good education, and science can fly high in the air, with religion in hand, and democracy in thoughts and with sound leadership, can make a revolution, a great revolution in the world. This is the only way to serve the humanity in a nice and good way.

What is religion ? (Article) - 2/14/2008 6:58:43 AM
Relgious dogma is a fantasy mankind can no longer afford. Our world is too integrated and complex to accomdate various faiths that insist that they hold the "truth" and everyone else ought or, or must, accept this truth. Islam and fundamental Christianity are the worst in this regard. Check out Richard Dawkins Book "The God Delusion." Malcolm Watts

What is religion ? (Article) - 2/13/2008 9:58:00 PM
What is Religion ? Religion is as old as mankind. It was, then, a submission before the forces of nature. Religion had an exclusive sway over man. Everything was explained as the doing of God.In its broaddest sense, religion is a human attempt to corrolate the individual with the universe around him and its maker. It is as whitehead says,"The reaction of human nature to its search of God."" Duke of Wellington, once said, "Educate man without religion and you make them but clever devils."" Edmund Bruke has rightly said, "Man is by his constitution a religious animals."" According to mathew arnold, "Religion is the voice of the deepest human experiences."" Over all. religion deals with doctrines and faiths.Religion aims at a divine order that lies for above. we note that spiritual or religious truths are obtained by means of prayers, fasting and the performance of various ceremonial rites. At the end, I shall say that religion ignores matter and adopts mind, its source of knowledge is "intuition". A man having knowledge of science is more religious than an ordinary man because when he has a look at the universe, he comes to recognise The greatness of God. "" So, Peace everywhere, love to all Love to humanity."" When you stretch the truth, people usually see through it."" Conscience is God,s presence in man."" To err is human,to forgive divine."" (Pope) Truth is sronger than fiction."" Virtue like flowers smells sweet when crushed."" (Bacon) The world is a bubble and the life of man is less than a span."" Death lays his icy hands even on kings. "" God never made his work for man to mend."" >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Relgion, all religions - at least the dogmatic ones who claim to have "truth" and would like everyone to think and believe their dogma are a serious threat to civilization. Islam, and fundamentalist Christianity are most problematic in this regard.
