A compelling short story; it gripped my attention and held it from start to finish. Most effective. Thank you for sharing it, Mayra. Love and peace to you,

I am going with Terry on this one, this is impressive as hell. Quite an imaginative horror tale you wrote here. I can easy go into the 1800 to 2500 word range. I am just recently getting into the word counts of 6,170 words. This is going to be a memorable horror tale in itself. Strong horror entry from you.

This is a solid story, I am surprised this one went under my radar. It was well written. I was just looking around at the horror roster at AuthorsDen and noticed how many talented writers this place has. I am trying to convince Matt to put out the scariest of AuthorsDen into a collection. This story I can see being part of that collection. You have a Weird Tales vibe with this horror story, and it is good to see a horror writer come out of PR. It seems like you have a mastery of this genre just need to find yourself a sponsor to put more of your work up here.

Ms. Calvani:
This is the "photograph type" kind of story, that in a few words is capable to say so much. Here you present a memorable scene to shake every bone from the reader, with such delicacy and elegance to be worth of an applause.
Congratulations from Adjuntas, PR

Brutal, concise, and to the point. Just the way I like my short tales (but are hapless to complete myself, as my own can NEVER seem to go less than 3000 words).
