Roaches In Our Paths (Poetry) - 8/10/2005 7:15:53 AM
This is the living truth.
Roaches In Our Paths (Poetry) - 2/20/2005 7:17:07 AM
This is amazing and in 1997 after our house had burned down which nearly killed my husband and did kill my dogs what should survive but the roaches. Well we have not seen many in the new house as we are careful of paper products and had an exterminator come in. But a roach can survive a nuclear blast.
The Meaning of thier death (Poetry) - 10/16/2004 5:55:01 PM

Those who killed those
Who killed those
Are waiting to be killed by them
To continue to kill themselves
For the same reason
And yet, no good
Powerful statements here. Your poetry no doubt can be one pointer to that tree out there on the horizon for Sierra-Leone. Excellent writing.

The Artist’s Palettes (Poetry) - 8/26/2004 11:43:26 PM
This poem is very thought provoking, and wise.Personally,(and this is just my own outlook,)I prefer to take a more sinuous direction (re the last line) as I am not happy to either follow, lead ,or get out .I prefer to just meander through (and I do)until the end or until I am actually picked up by the scruff of neck and tossed out of life's door.Following is a bore, leading is too much pressure and getting out is too darn hard.
You have painted an abstract with your palette of colorful words,I like it a lot.
Best wishes

Homage to Patriots (Poetry) - 8/26/2004 12:11:21 AM
Your voice is loud,in the midst of the destruction your poetry
FREELY sings.
Your poem is powerful, that you wrote it shows me that you are certainly no traitor to self.Amidst the destruction, flowers grow.
Homage is what I save for the one who will never die.
Your poem is excellent.
Best wishes always

Powerfully penned, Abu-Hassan.
The Lion Mountain (Poetry) - 8/23/2004 11:52:20 PM
Abu-Hassan, this is outstanding verse that says so very much with few, well-chosen words. I applaud you for this poem and for your work as a social entrepreneur. May God bless you and the people of Sierra-Leone. Dawn

The Challenge of an Artist at 12: AM (Poetry) - 8/22/2004 5:39:58 PM
This was an excellent composition of the force of emotion and the tangled yet viable web of want and desire. A very well written piece.

"The Challenge of an Artist at 12: AM" is a profound composition poemized through a union of emotions, knowledge and art; and poetized with words from the lexicon of a heedful observer of life, and a soul guiding a wise heart that pumps wisdom and grace.
