Shroud of Death (Book) - 2/16/2008 10:49:21 AM
Mystery of life and death, is a concieved notion of uncertain questions. The violence introduced by the creative mind of a demented and distracted attitude about why? Where does this conscience of being a killer take you. Only Aristotle Smith can tell. The raw edges I ahve written about the questions of death telling all. The only reason to solve death is to ask questions from a voice of silence. Are you willing to ask questions about your faith and hope in religion to prove it exist.

Ritual of Death (new book) (Short Story) - 9/7/2008 12:15:02 PM

wayward wind (Short Story) - 4/20/2008 5:33:56 PM
This amuses me. Yes, this amuses me greatly. I laugh at the supersticious man only because I laugh at supersticions (my spelling needs improvement). Good read
wayward wind (Short Story) - 4/15/2008 7:59:43 PM
...and I had that old, old, oldie of a song dancing thru my mind, "the westward wind is a wayward wind"... and then to read that... it messed with my mind a bit.
I couldn't imagine how hard it would be to find that... so glad not to be a cop. --Charlie

doubt and pity (Article) - 7/23/2008 5:25:04 AM
I have doubts, many each day, especially if I will be happy in my move to efficiency apt. I think it is a big step in my life and would rather stay here, but finances won't allow me to keep the trailer. Hopefully I won't pity myself and will go on living a good wonderful life. I can get depressed so easily, having bi polar disease. Take care and express those doubts in writing, it helps.

words (Article) - 3/24/2008 10:45:32 PM
That is just lovely. I was born a poem-- a tiny little poem. And words spilled into me, and I became an epic one. And I spilled words, and added to your length and beauty, and created some poems all my own as well. Words and letters--sounds and imagery pouring from poetic lips, creating... we are all gods then, in a sense. --Charlie
humor (Poetry) - 8/26/2009 4:33:32 AM
Ditto...what everyone else said. What would life be without humor? I beleive a sense of humor is a human's most important characteristic...it's what has attracted me to people all of my life. Good job.

weighting for a lift (Poetry) - 6/21/2009 2:13:15 PM
Rich, this poem really shows the depths of despair and how one small nudge--maybe from God--can lift you from its depths. Tricky title, but it fits.
enchanted (Poetry) - 5/3/2009 11:30:09 PM
Sometimes, it's so difficult for we humans to see beyond the surface!
weep not for my death (Poetry) - 5/3/2009 5:28:27 AM
This poem has a depth of pain and sadness. I hope it is a mood that has passed. Blessings.
growing pains of life (Poetry) - 5/1/2009 6:11:21 PM
so nostalgic...there is pain in growing, in going through the seasons of life with its losses and its joys. I enjoyed this.

did you ever (Poetry) - 5/1/2009 5:56:54 PM
Some of these sound pretty normal to me; others, like punching, not quite what I'd do. However, I have to admit I was pretty annoyed with 2 little girls being allowed to run around making noise during part of the program at a dinner I attended tonight. Yes, Rich, I did too!

enchanted (Poetry) - 4/23/2009 4:35:08 AM
An enchanting poem that brought back memories of the story "The Frog Prince." As a child it was my favorite and it was meant to teach a lesson--that what we see on the surface of things is not what a thing--or person--really is.
enchanted (Poetry) - 4/22/2009 5:16:03 PM

did you ever (Poetry) - 4/18/2009 5:41:33 AM
I call them "instant nudges", and yes, I have had similar thoughts. I have heard that the mind never sleeps and if we don't fill it up with selected material, it will find its own avenue of thought. Good write!

growing pains of life (Poetry) - 4/16/2009 11:19:36 AM
Interesting! There is a progression to most things and you've demonstarted it in your poem with regard to a child from birth on...
ways of the wind (Poetry) - 4/6/2009 12:37:40 AM
"remove the heart ache of being a children" these lines, Rich, say so much, for so often when we talk of children, we only think of the good and fun times, but there are those ties of pain, too. This is a beautiful piece, from title to last lines.
ways of the wind (Poetry) - 3/31/2009 4:40:50 AM
This poem tells me you must have loved rainbows when you were a child. They did have a mystical quality (as you stated) and I recall believing that at the end of the rainbow there would be a pot of gold. We were told that to see a rainbow one would have good luck. Nicely done, Rich.
ways of the wind (Poetry) - 3/31/2009 4:06:36 AM
Ditto..how true your words are sweet man..wonderful writing as always...keep smiling OK...Hugssssss
humor (Poetry) - 3/24/2009 3:02:04 AM
Rich, all I can do is second what the others have written....without humor, life can become too complicated. You always write from your heart.
humor (Poetry) - 3/12/2009 5:59:41 PM
Humor to light the way for those times when we're struggling through the darkness.
Bringing forth the smiles and laughter we need to get past each day.
Thanks for the reminder.

humor (Poetry) - 3/7/2009 9:24:28 PM
When humor goes awry it is so very painful and hard to see the clumsy funny guy is wishing his words could be eaten.
remembering my mom (Poetry) - 3/7/2009 9:19:54 PM
What a loving write, your words are full with heart's healing, isn't is a wonderful feeling? The memories do bring great light, with enough time. I am always happy when someone comes to this conclusion. Be Well Always, Carin'
remembering my mom (Poetry) - 2/7/2009 12:41:57 PM
Rich, I, too, know the pain of loss and I'm happy that you're reached a point where you can enjoy the memories. Your love is all the wonderful tribute she would ever have wanted from you. Nice poem on her behalf.
