You show here, again, that you experience and feel life deeply. All at once you delve far below and rise high above the surface. I know that your friend is smiling upon you.

Divine impressions (Poetry) - 10/17/2008 5:25:58 PM
There is such a strong sense of spirituality that pervades so many of your writings. Your poems never come across as "heavy" or "preachy" or "self-righteous." You have a fine "airiness" and "lightness" about you that is joyful and peaceful and makes you a pure pleasure to read.

Moving back to the west coast (Poetry) - 10/2/2008 6:27:46 PM
Hello Harold, A very sad poem you wrote here. The times are hard and you've pictured it "caught up in a mad cage" and we are all in captivity in the financial cage. Change in environment can help, and some jobs can be found in other places, while most try it overseas where the dollar value is higher. Many Americans and Europeans have started business here in our islands and have made good fiancially. Come when you can, the trip will refresh you. Cynthia

Moving back to the west coast (Poetry) - 9/26/2008 12:04:29 AM
It can be difficult finding yourself in a new environment...I've moved from Connecticut after more than 40 years, than to the UK for 3 and now Italy for the last five...but I know this...WE are responsible for our own happiness. Excellent write.

My prayer (Poetry) - 9/12/2008 1:02:49 AM
You speak such truth in this...but in the meantime, we're here to enjoy and live life, and to try to clean up the things that you have written, about as best we can, so that we and our children can enjoy a better world. I am not part of those who believe that "the world is going to hell in a hand basket." I see the world as a special place that WE are to take care of as our Father would want us to. Good writing!

A cry for balance (Poetry) - 8/28/2008 2:39:58 PM
All I can say is that this poem is so tragic and yet hopeful.. Depresion and fear can swallow us into an abyss that often takes far too long to come back out into the light... I pray that you will see some sunlight soon.. Please don't give up... there are many who don't know you are in pain, so think of those who are also in pain and you don't know about them... We need one another... so keep writing these beautiful words...they do touch...and God is using you... thank you, lindalaw

A tribute to Miss F.A.T. Queen 2006 Tanisha Malone (Poetry) - 8/28/2008 2:35:05 PM
I love this tribute and I know Miss F.A.T. does too! Altho I am a writer, I love to paint with oils and charcoals...and I have had a collection of Fatulicious (my word) paintings... don't know why I enjoy drawing and painting women who are large...but I do... and am so proud of my collection. I have sold several over the years, and when people ask me "why" I draw large women, I just say, "because they are beautiful"...and I consider myself to be one too... even tho I my weight goes up and down... my mind will always keep me large... Good for you and how nice to say what you feel. lindalaw

A cry for balance (Poetry) - 8/28/2008 5:33:05 AM
Harold, I know exactly how you felt three years ago, I have had my share of depression and feeling out of balance. Right now, I am going through a very tough time, but I know in my soul, it is what is suppose to be happening to me, in order to reach my next step in "the plan". I embrace change, love and light that the Universe sends my way. I wish you the same always, Amber "V"

Behind The Door (Poetry) - 7/29/2008 5:53:16 PM
This poem is TOPS in my book Harold! Full of complexity but to me I feel it's simplicity! It's like a spider web, to me - Its' strung in all directions and we choose our path, (if we have a chance too, a prey does not) but for me, to walk through doors, is growth waiting for my soul to keep growing! What holds back MOST is Trust, FEAR and insecurity within one self! When we go through, we suprise even our selves and see a better tomorrow, that was just waiting!!! Isn't that a nice View! This poem is a shining gem and you got me going again! See! How you inspire! that is a blessing! Thank you! Walk through and wear a helmet with eyes and heart w i d e OPEN I say, START today! YOu'll be glad you did1 :) WRITE ON! Warmest Blessings and Inner Peace, Warrior Purple Lady Sheexooo STay Positive! Wisdom (Poetry) - 7/22/2008 4:32:01 PM
Just for you my friend, a worthy piece, full of contemplation. What the future holds only God knows for sure. The ability to accept what is and the wisdom to embrace life will determine what each of us makes of it. A wonderful and optimistic understanding of life.... Be always safe, Karen

Wisdom (Poetry) - 7/22/2008 12:45:09 PM
It's not a stretch for me to consider "future" a divine entity - I've often pondered the concept of time - a measure trapped within the confines of human understanding. We humans have smothered the "wonder" of life in our relentless pursuit of explanation and compartmentalization. Some things, perhaps, we could simply let "be."

Wisdom (Poetry) - 7/22/2008 11:01:51 AM

This is precious ~ I love the way you have so well conveyed the notion that love is found in life's simple pleasures (chocolate fudge pop-tarts are my personal favorite with a good dose of the old Bugs Bunny Road Runner Hour) as well as in the deep, stirring, soulful pleasures like sharing your heart with another. You have such a unique style; it's very endearing.

Behind The Door (Poetry) - 7/10/2008 6:10:02 PM
Opening doors can be scary, but must be done, in order to grow and begin to live your life. If you are living your life without opening closed doors then you are living in a stagnant world of fear and insecurity. I always open doors and walk right through very boldly and openly, in order to fulfill your destiny. I choose life and it's mystery, over the hell of fear and misery. Great poem producing much to think about. Peace, love, and light, Amber "V"

Did I mention another dimension ? (Poetry) - 7/10/2008 5:58:19 PM
Lovely thoughts charmingly infused with humor and whimsy - what a grand place you describe.

Behind The Door (Poetry) - 7/10/2008 5:54:41 PM
I've always felt that we carry our wisdom within us - an "attribute"/"quality" of Source - and that it is not so much to be found from without but allowed to rise from within when we release our resistance to it. And when we open ourselves up to uncertainty - accept it - and live not in fear of it, our resistance begins its dissolution and the door (of which you write) becomes far less daunting. Thank you for this wonderful offering; you've given me reason to stop and consider...

Behind The Door (Poetry) - 7/10/2008 3:34:32 PM
