CLIMB TO GLORY (Poetry) - 11/12/2008 9:45:00 PM
Great poem, so inspirational- it reminds me of a homily my favorite priest gave one time about the spiritual life- he said "don't hug the mountain, but let go and believe," which I thought was a beautiful image- your poem had the same effect. Thanks for sharing this.- Michelle

Seeds (Poetry) - 4/30/2008 1:53:13 PM
I've a comment, and then a suggestion. This poem has got some really good ideas in it. But the surprising one--and I think it's accidental is this part: " will fix my words within a setting Which seems good and right; And in this can be seen the poet's sole charge." I am imagining a ring setting-- like "I need a new settings on my ring because one of the prongs is broken, and my diamond fell out..." (true story-- to many people)... any way, reading it like that, I went back and re-read the entire poem in that light. Certain words fit perfectly (in that setting)-- and I think you can re-render it just so-- so that it can have two meanings (that of jewels, and that of words). And I'd love-love a word play at the end with that "sole charge"-- like the heart of a diamond has a soul, and according to mythical legends, a charge... Something to think about. What do you think? --Charlie

REAL (Poetry) - 4/30/2008 12:44:52 PM
Well written with much inner, deep thoughts, leaving one to ponder over expectations yet to be claimed and perhaps conquered, well done... Be always safe, Karen

The Journey (Poetry) - 4/24/2008 3:50:15 PM
Such determination--even on a blade's edge-- walking towards light... I think that's faith... well-penned sentiments. --Charlie

It Occurs To Me (Poetry) - 4/14/2008 6:56:29 AM
Parallelity... I live a life parallel to my own... in harmonic movements, we go... me trudging through life... and me just dreaming... it works. --Charlie

Searching Heart (Poetry) - 4/10/2008 8:52:26 PM
Beautiful-the search can be so bittersweet, very nice poem.

Searching Heart (Poetry) - 4/10/2008 8:07:42 PM
I smile. My heart is filled by this, When upon my solitary path I find you At times like this...... Your words rang raw and true on this eccentric loner of a woman who loves to dream and forever going down the wrong solitary path.....beautifully done, thank you - Deborah
