The Adventures of Seamus the Sheltie (Book) - 9/21/2008 11:15:36 AM
The stories are very entertaining and cute, and both parents and children will be entertained. Heartwarming and educational, The Adventures of Seamus the Sheltie is a great family read. Reviewed by Nicole M. Boals, www.amchairinterviews.com
Thoughts on eBooks (Article) - 6/18/2011 2:18:30 PM
Oh yeah! It's easy to be critical over the sentiment, however, bookstores, like libraries has a special place in our hearts. It's the aesthetics of the situation.
I agree entirely with James on the personal value of the printed book. E-booking lacks the personal touch. Especially when he mentions the small child helping to flip the pages and pointing to the illustrations.
...... and, all the rest.
"Really Grandpa? Really?"
But I think about this great piece of work ... then ... I think about the guy he wrote it. .......
Naaaah! Maybe someone else's grand kid, but not his. For sure, Mr. James L. Beverly's grand kids and great grand kids will all know what books are! More than likely have quit a few of their own!
Thanks James! Happy Father's Day!
What has happened to teaching family values to our children? (Article) - 9/4/2008 9:13:12 AM

Give Your Child A Break! (Article) - 8/12/2008 10:59:38 AM
I agree with your article. I used to think that both my children had A.D.D because my husband was diagnosed with it and they were always the hyper, full of energy, never going to sleep type of children. As I grew up and became a more experienced mother, I realized that by being more firm and following through with what I want done seemed to lessen the A.D.D behavior. I set boundaries, set consequences, and actually reinforced my rules and hmm....it worked. Very good advice, sir. -Tabitha Carter
