So Torn- The Storm (Short Story) - 10/26/2009 1:36:49 PM
Such a tease but its ok cause it only heightens my anticipation for the book! I know it won't be long now & I can't wait. Your poems & short stories offers a realist view of the situations we all find our selfs in. I find your work to be inspirational & hope you will continue to write from your heart.

Your man is a lucky guy to have someone as special as you are in his life.I hope he doesn't take you for granted. If I have a woman who can express love to me in the way that you beautifully portrayed in this poem, she would have the most romantic night of her life :-).take care

All I Want Is Everything (Poetry) - 10/29/2009 1:10:35 AM
"All I want is everything and to me everything is you".I like what you said.It is clear and to the point. There are 3 songs that talked about love being the most important thing in the world and having materialistic things doesn't matter. In 2005 Ciara sang a song called "And I".My favorite lyric is when she said "He don't have to have lots of money, his love is just like honey, its so sweet to me"In 2004 Alicia Keys did a song called "If I Ain't Got You" where in the chorus she sang "Some people want diamond rings, some just want everything, but everything means nothing if I ain't got you".Also Alicia has a new song called "Does't Mean Anything" where she expresses her feelings about money and cars doesn't mean anything without that special someone in her life.Love is one of the most special feelings that any person could ever have, especially unconditional love.Money, cars, fancy mansions can be gone, but love is eternal.take care

The Dog (Poetry) - 10/8/2009 3:32:12 PM
That's what doggies do. Funny. There is a chihuahua that lives next door that loves to bark. Not so funny at nap time. Just remember that there are no bad dogs, just bad owners. You can train a bad dog to be good so he doesnt't have to be replaced. Training a bad owner is much harder. Patrick

Advice To Live By (Poetry) - 8/23/2009 7:21:15 AM
I envy the fact you can work so hard, but I am 65 and not much work left in me. Too overweight to move fast or far, and disgusted sometimes. Your verses here helped me to think about what i am missing though. Thanks and keep up the good work, friend.
