I could hear this as spoken word when I read it, it has a good message, and the ending leaves the reader thinking.

Anything (Poetry) - 3/26/2008 2:09:39 AM
An optical illusion
An egotistical logistic...
Have you ever heard of Metathesis? It's when you mistakenly rearrange syllables in your head... like kids who say "hecalopter" for helecopter, or "pasketti" for spaghetti... anyways, you can make tongue twisters using its basic idea.
Ruan Wright wrote one I liked--can't remember the name. But this is how it works: you take a few words, and then you replace the first letter from one, with the first of another like tree, foreign, sharp: fee, tarp, shorn, etc... and if the words have more than one syllable, swap them around, and use the "twins" in random lines... anyway, I get confused in writing it, but I bet you could do it...
It's funny the way your mind gets twisted up like your tongue does when you read things like this. --Charlie
