NO Work ALL Play GET Paid ALL DAY!!! (Article) - 11/16/2002 11:12:58 AM
Great take on the rape of the naive! I especially beware of the advertisements to writers - YOU can be a published author - let us show you the MONEY. Whoops, they meant my MONEY.

All that I was told was to be blonde and stupid. It must've worked, I'm laughing all the way to the bank. Er, uh, I meant bankruptcy, scratch that, I don't know. ;) Love your humor Bob, it keeps me going.
It's Just Marketing.....HONEST! (Article) - 10/30/2002 11:54:40 PM
Well, I, for one, seriously loathe Marketing and had the misfortune of studying for 4 excruciating years.
Philip Kotler's definition of it would be:
"It is the art of creating genuine customer value."
We try to one-up our competitors by making them look bad and call it a "Marketing Strategy". Then we cap them with a little piece of evidence from "Marketing Research"; come up with a lousy one-liner and call it a "Positioning Statement". I have yet to see an honest person make a million by telling them: "What we're selling you is the beta version of the product (meaning that it's still absolute crap) but we're selling it to you anyway because we believe we think that it's a clever way of disposing what we have... It's so clever it has become an art..."
Good, insightful article, Bob. Enjoyed reading this.

That's why I don't want to get involved in big industry. Too much heartache suffered by the little guys; all the rewards go to the top rank.

Little More of Me...Little Less of You (Poetry) - 9/22/2002 1:46:22 PM
Thanks so much for writing to me to let me know about the music. Oh how careless of me, I didn't even check. I'm going to have to download "RealPlayer" now to listen. I have "WindowsMedia Player" and "Winamp" but I don't have "RealPlayer", so it will be a while until I get to listen to the songs. Quite and interesting site you've got there.
I'll download first and I'll be there in a while.
Thank you so much for letting me know!!!!!

Well I think a little bit of work on the grammar and the rhythm might make this a better song.
