Electric Love (Short Story) - 6/9/2008 5:27:47 AM
Guilt is a funny thing. Twenty years is a long time to carry it. After 20 years of marriage I don't think it would make much difference. Nice story.

Stupid Girls (Short Story) - 6/1/2008 2:29:21 PM
Cute story--I was wishing it was a bit longer as I got wrapped up in it. Captures the feeling of a blended family from a kid's point of view.

A Pet of Your Own (Article) - 6/14/2008 4:00:26 AM
Kim---excellent story that teaches and connects with children---we often think of the expense of other pets---my dog had to get teeth cleaned (and removed). Cost: $350. I like your idea better!
Aloha and Best,

It Didn't Seem to Matter (Poetry) - 7/1/2008 9:01:18 AM
Very sad, and too often true. God made us to be sociable. I love the Bible passage that says, "Two are better than one....If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!" and it continues. It's in Ecclesiastes chapter 5
You've written a wise poem; living for oneself just doesn't produce a happy life.

My Hazy Gaze (Poetry) - 7/1/2008 8:30:51 AM
This is a long "awwwww" poem. It is so unique, writing from the perspective of the baby girl. It made me feel awed by its wonderful "hazy gaze." At first I thought it was the Daddy's thoughts, then I realized what you had done. Great work!

It Didn't Seem to Matter (Poetry) - 6/24/2008 11:36:55 AM
Hello Kim-
Time flies so fast and what matters in life is the legacy we leave behind. "What difference did I make?" is a question for all of us reflect on because a life without purpose is a wasted life.

Every Day (Poetry) - 6/24/2008 11:31:08 AM
Hello Kim,
A vivid poem on the cycle of "abuse" - I was familiar with this but God had better plans and am now free. I can read your poem and not feel
afraid anymore. Thanks!

It Didn't Seem to Matter (Poetry) - 5/30/2008 6:08:01 PM
Wow, how many live their lives today and I find it so very sad. Breaks my heart to find so many people alone towards the end of their lives when they could have had so much....
Be always safe,
Karen

Hello, your poem is very interesting. In the 2 last lines, every day should be like Valentine's day.Why should we celebrate love once a year where people should love each other on a daily basis :-)
