Spider Paranoia (Poetry) - 2/28/2009 11:00:53 AM
Chillingly symbolic; I find this to have meaning on more than one level. Effective verses with rhyme and rhythm. Well done, E. Love and best wishes,

Miss You (Poetry) - 2/28/2009 10:58:41 AM
Short but impactful in what is expressed. Somehow, it makes me sad. Poetry is supposed to "move" the reader in some way; at least, in my humble opinion. Nicely done, E. Love and best wishes,
Regis

Words of truth and serenity but mankind makes his/her own fate, why wait, go out and be creative...
Be always safe,

Spider Paranoia (Poetry) - 8/14/2008 8:18:42 AM
I had for a few years a light-brown furry tarantula named Virginia that kept my den free of flies, mosquitoes, wasp and a few people that I didn't want to see very often.
To clear a room I will put her on my shoulder and you won't believe how fast people can be without telling them to scram!

an outstanding write E J
Lord I hate spiders too
I once told my grandma of a continuing mightmare
She said "next time it occurs
Just remember this" say a prayer
while its occuring.
it was like magic
the dream came to haunt me, one more time
This time
I was prepared
I remembered and said a prayer
the dream disintegrated, waking me
I was feeling free
from what was incarcerated within my mind
to this date, that dream never occured
nor any other nightmare ever since
my short paryer was like the sword of Michael The Archangel
I used it every time Bad dreams
tried to invade my serene nights
Peace be with you
William
