PERSPECTIVE IN THE RACE OF LIFE (Article) - 5/7/2009 6:29:46 AM
This is a very informative and inspiring article, so related to my poem
"Running the Race" - without God we may run the race of life but the
goal is not as focused, for then it will running just for the sake of running - empty existence.
MY FIRST MEMORY (Article) - 3/24/2009 10:17:50 AM
Every description was next to perfect!
Just that the extracts from the psalms went above my head.
Such things are strictly meant for Christians,...or, to sound more specific n less controversial, i must say that these extracts can be understood only by those who've a good knowledge bout each n every chapter of the bible....,
...N i guess the main theme which u wanted to convey to the readers was hidden in them!

The Hands of Time (Poetry) - 5/7/2009 7:18:08 PM
Now more than ever, this poem must be read and shared! "Man's come a long way, but now he should heed, The absolute fact; that he has a need-" and denying that need has now brought this generation into
man-made chaos that will soon destroy all of mankind.
Only God Knows (Poetry) - 5/7/2009 7:13:59 PM
How great is His wisdom and His plan for us - you tell them in this poem an map it out in effective verse, so encouraging and inspiring!
It's All About Me (Poetry) - 5/7/2009 7:11:22 PM
I like this very much, a situation we are all in when life's cares
occupy our intimate time with the Reason for our existence, and we
get "unplugged" from the Source of all Power - God. We go about
so busy in His work but not busy with Him, the Planner of our work.
You wrote this perfectly - well done.
In His Time (Poetry) - 5/7/2009 7:08:03 PM
"Don't be afraid to take off your mask, let Him be Lord is all He ask-"
Simple truth that the proud cannot accept. The world remains SELF centered and cannot receive, the mask blinds them, but the Truth will set them free as they hear about Him. Your poem is a way for that to happen!
His Plan (Poetry) - 5/7/2009 7:04:13 PM
Ah, the Wisdom of God!!! "The man without the Spirit cannot understand
the things of the Spirit, for they are foolishness to him..."
He knows His sheep and His sheep hear His voice. You do hear Him and you relay the message for others to hear Him too. "By His example I know how to give."
Words (Poetry) - 5/7/2009 7:00:28 PM
Without the Power of the Holy Spirit our words are empty and
ineffective - but with His Presence in them they are our SWORD,
our HAMMER, our SEED. They cut to silence evil, they pound to break
the sin, they grow as seeds to bear fruits of Righteousness.
A Jewel (Poetry) - 5/7/2009 6:57:00 PM
Completely true, as a lamp cannot be hidden under a bed - it must be put high on a lamp stand to shed light for a whole room, pearls and jewels of God's Word need to be shared. Caution tells us not to sow
them amongst swine and dogs.
Be Thankful! (Poetry) - 5/7/2009 6:53:59 PM
Wonderful poem and excellent message - in all walks of life thankfulness is a blessing. A thankful heart is a heart of worship.
Guard Your Heart (Poetry) - 5/7/2009 6:52:10 PM
How very true - "But given some time the root makes a tree!"
Unresolved anger or resentment grows slowly into hate and bitterness,
and the heart unguarded becomes an unwilling soil. Your words are
cutting and your pen a scalpel - to bring healing here.
God Is Love (Poetry) - 5/7/2009 6:48:41 PM
What a real blessing this poem is!!! God is Love and He loves to do good, because in that He delights...not the wrong concept that He does
all the wars, famine, financial collapse, etc. that are all man-made but blamed on Him. You write poetry so well and He is glorified in your work!
God's Majesty (Poetry) - 5/7/2009 6:45:02 PM
Majesty - the perfect word for our God Who is awesome in Power
and abounding in Loving Kindness! He is worthy of all praise and honor, and this poem so gives much of that! Excellent write - I like the rhyme, flow, content, and style!!!
The Love of a Son (Poetry) - 5/7/2009 6:42:09 PM
I can relate so well with this - having an only son who is God's gift to me, and this poem seems to talk about him too. I love the way you express a mother's thoughts - Happy Mother's Day!
Family Life (Poetry) - 1/28/2009 4:22:08 AM
Glad I finally got to read about this. Good tribute to your aged Father. Sorry did not get to it sooner. You write terrifically, by the way.
Who Me? - Forget? (Poetry) - 11/9/2008 10:28:48 PM
Very sad to remain on the side lines and observe one slipping away. Watched my mother slowly slip away to the point where her family was unrecognizable, touching write...

The Love of a Son (Poetry) - 10/25/2008 8:34:48 PM
I love this poem.It relates to me in a way because I'm an only child/son and the way that you express your feelings in this poem is the exact same way that my own mother will probably feel as well.A son/mother relationship is very special and priceless.
It's All About Me (Poetry) - 10/25/2008 11:17:29 AM
A very nice way to put your point across; especially in our very egocentred, 21st century lifetime.
I really liked your sensitive approach and the way you "put" the message over.
God Is Love (Poetry) - 8/14/2008 7:53:04 AM
This poem is a "Bright Shinning Light" of hope.
Yours In Christ,

Great inspirational poem, turning to the Lord in the troubled times.
Letting Go (Poetry) - 6/14/2008 9:10:11 AM
Great poem Donna. Learning to "let go" is one of life's hardest lessons, but once learned life becomes so much easier. I've learned the hard way the He is in control and not me. And also that when we face those brick walls of life that it may be at the last minute but He will always knock them down for us.
Oh What A Difference... (Poetry) - 6/13/2008 11:32:33 AM

The Back Burner Friend (Poetry) - 6/12/2008 6:46:32 PM
I'm such a dork. I ended up nearly in sobs after reading this. You put a special and positive light on something that I've felt I've always been - a person on the back burner for everyone. I've never thought of a beautiful way of thinking of it, and it's so touching. Haha, really made me feel a little better. I needed that. I hope a LOT of people read this.
There's Nothing to Lose (Poetry) - 6/11/2008 10:43:54 PM
Be always safe,
There's Nothing to Lose (Poetry) - 6/11/2008 6:18:23 PM
Yet giving up that which means most to you,
Produces a yield of something brand new!
Surely in losing you'll find that you win,
For God will make something of nothing again!
Are remarkable lines.
There's Nothing to Lose (Poetry) - 6/11/2008 6:02:24 PM
Words to live by, this is uplifting and well written.
There's Nothing to Lose (Poetry) - 6/11/2008 4:00:36 PM

Little Things (Poetry) - 6/8/2008 10:01:50 PM
Yes, it is in the little things that we do everyday that makes the world a better place, and for some of us, helps us remember WWJD. Thanks for this.
