The Crooked Lady Down the Street (Poetry) - 5/9/2012 9:55:40 AM
A very revealing self-portrait. I can feel a bit of what you feel because I am a “cripple” in the eyes of many who will never say it to my face. Kids have come up to me and said, “what happened your hands?” So I once again, like so many times before, explain. Thanks for opening your heart to us. Ron

The Crooked Lady Down the Street (Poetry) - 5/9/2012 5:19:27 AM
You brought tears to my eyes. Wonderful portrayal of real life. I lost two son in the last 5 years and I married a deaf man and am raising my grandsons. Sometimes life is hard but joy comes in doing and love is far greater than burden.

Thank you for sharing these words... I believe that there are times in everyone's lives when relationships on earth fail them for one reason or another. Knowing that there is a loving Father in Heaven who will ALWAYS be there is the only way to make it through. My Struggle (Poetry) - 1/19/2009 6:57:43 AM
Please never be angry at yourself..it gives satan an entrance! We are each designed to be different and I understand your sorrows...as many are cruel in the way they perceive outward appearances of others. I have read some of your writings...and I see a lovely God loving heart in you! Some feed off of the heartache of others...as they are unhappy with their own selves. You are Beautiful and you love the LORD!!! What else could be better! CarolHawks

First I want to say that this is a well written poem.I want to tell you that loosing weight is one of the hardest things that a person can ever do or achieved.Sometimes loosing weight can take a lot of patience.I've been there before.Don't give up.Always be strong.Even if you don't reach for the moon, you will be with the stars.Always love yourself and be proud of who you are.Don't loose focus of your goal and most importantly don't loose focus on yourself.take care of yourself Edwin

My Struggle (Poetry) - 1/17/2009 9:58:45 AM
Gina, This is a poignant and heartbreaking poem to read. The cry for help here is a struggle I know only too well, with myself and friends and family. Don't give up yet. You deserve a chance to live without shame. Its not your fault, so hold your head up high. There is hope for you. First, pray and ask for guidance. There is a new day is coming. You have a new friend now. Rockie Coppolella

My Struggle (Poetry) - 1/17/2009 9:24:45 AM
I too have been struggling with weight this winter. I gained 25 lb in a years time, not good and now have to work so hard to get it off. Am trying but when I want to eat something I do, but do try to get fresh fruits, and veggies into me more. It is hard and I do need a buddy to encourage me to keep on the diet. Right now it is my youngest Kris and her daughter's grandma Pat. They both lost last year and are encouraging me to be on a diet and lose. Hope you try harder and do lose that weight too. You will be in better health and feel much better about yourself too. Just remember it does take time don't get discouraged.
