Our Last Rose (Poetry) - 11/10/2008 2:40:26 AM
Hi Wendy,my condolescences go out to you and to your family. This was a poem in dedication to all the great things that she has mean to you and to your family. My favorite verse is "We've lost many relatives in the past, wondering did they know the impact that they put into our lives, you did so many things without a word to say".That was deep and beautiful. She is indeed a hero, but a quiet hero.A hero who doesn't need to be in newspapers or be famous.I'm having a Barack Obama hangover :-)
Its always important to leave a great legacy behind so that people, family and friends can carry on that legacy with a sense of pride. This poem expresses gratitude for what she meant to you and to your family with tears that flow like the river.Thank you for sharing this poem and sharing the memory of your aunt. Its greatly appreciated.take care
