Blessed 2 AM Being (Poetry) - 8/16/2008 3:05:38 PM
I think you mean "preys" in the 10th verse but I could be wrong. I allways appreciate it when others point out my "typos." Truly. You are a fine poet girl, Eden (poetess). I do love and appreciate the way you express yourself via your verses. You totally write my kind of poetry. I am grateful I "found" you here. Love and best wishes to you, Regis

Relationship of Abuse (Poetry) - 7/28/2008 2:10:32 PM

Relationship of Abuse (Poetry) - 7/28/2008 6:27:13 AM
Abuse comes in many forms and you seem to have covered every channel or venue. "While trying to understand how one you love could do this to you" This rings true to everyone that has gone down this road. I was abused as a child by my father as well as the rest of my siblings. It was a horrific experience that lasted some sixteen years, when I finally mustered the courage to leave it all behind. To this day none of his children have visited his grave sight. The abuse allowed me to remember who I wanted to be when I began raising my own children. It was very important to create a home where my children could always be forgiven. Thank you for this read. This is a living testament for anybody that has stumbled down this path. God Bless you, Tim
