This is a collection of Joel Andre's poetry. Usually I don't read poetry, but I bought this book at the same time I bought Joel's novel.
The poems are thought provoking. His subjects range from ravens to vampires. Some discuss dying; other discuss love and loss. A couple talk about "the Darkman". My favorite was "Bitter Honey" - it reached deep in me and pulled at my longings, then reminded me what it's all about. Well done!
In spite of a few spelling errors, the quality was good, the poetry was thought provoking, and I'll be sure to leaf through it again. I look forward to more works from Andre!

Who is it that watches us. I know of noone but God that does all that. Good thinking though for a poem while you were studying in college. Glad you took time out to write it.

Valentine's day coming up. Lot of roses given to lovers. My love did Aug 17 07 and I don't expect roses no more. He always gave me yellow roses my favorite on that day. Now I have the artificial ones he left with me to put in a vase on the table for decors for that day. Love still abounds in some way. May you find love eventually too in your young life.

/Good write to let that person know you care and wait for that call again. I wrote a poem on winter musings, but am not waiting for anyone in my lonely life at present. Just posted some musings of mine I have. We all think differently on the den.
