A Time for Kindness (Book) - 4/4/2011 3:19:35 PM
I think this story would make a wonderful television series. It would be suitable for a network such as Hallmark. It offers wholesome entertainment with worthwhile situations that would appeal to an audience of various personalities.

The Odd Little Duck (Short Story) - 7/25/2009 12:21:14 PM
Oh, my Sharon, what a lovely, heart-warming story you've shared with us. And it comes with a marvelous moral, too: A kind and generous word--especially to one who seems down-and-out or depressed or sad with life--has the power of God's magic to enlighten and transform. I hope we all remember "The Odd Little Duck" and take the time to share God's magic with a kind word when needed. And the surprise? We'll feel better, too! A wonderful story, Sharon. Thank you for sharing your great artistry of words with us. Richard

Sheri, This reminds me that we should have faith, hope and love but the greatest of these is Love. Blessings...Frances

We live in a very complex society. But for normal, ordinary people, I endorse your conclusion. And love, indeed, binds us together. Simple and profound. Richard

Reflections on a Silent Retreat (Poetry) - 7/17/2009 9:08:41 AM
Considering you say you're not a poet, I think you did rather well. I like the way you put headings and create poetic descriptions. This is an innovative way to write poetry. I like it.

This sounds like an interesting day of people getting to know people, and you're right--"there remains only one basic instinct - to love. THIS binds us together..."
