Fall - Leaves (Poetry) - 3/22/2009 6:37:39 PM
Dear Cynthia. I came accross your den and found this lovely and original poem. I like particularly these two lines which express the feeling; "When, they all got excited and started to feel, Then, my leaves began to crumble" Great, Love Emile

I like the way you "play" with words. I've been known to do that myself. Check out, "Whaddup, Doc?" Love and peace to you, Cyntia,
Regis

I never thought about it like that. But it is a blessing when your body is healthy physically. Moreover it's even greater to know that your body is part of the spiritual body of God. I think your words illustrate both and you've really said something that's simply powerful! Do it Sista!

This is great for kids because the visuals are so strong and would come alive with illustrations. I would add another chill at the end though and one less child's name because you have the whole set of three things working for you in the first three stanzas. If you are interested in publishing credits, i do a children's magazine and would love this for the Autumn issue- we only pay in copy (2 copies of the magazine you are in), so if you are interested check out the website address on my page. Great work. Michelle

Great, I just love the beach in summer and the swimmers and to laze at edge of waves and just get a little wet.
The Apartment Is Empty Or The Empty Apartment, Part Two (Poetry) - 9/6/2008 5:35:46 PM
I know loneliness too. Many people just don't have much and still survive. A story so sad but true.

Too bad, this story is sad.

Winter will be here before we know it in PA. It is always nice to watch those snowflakes from inside now that I am old and don't care to play in it for years.

Snow is such a wonderful part of Mother Nature,I don't mind shoveling the snow.I can remember when I was a kid,I used to throw snowballs at my friends at school and use the school steps as a sled where kids would glide down on the steps. It was a lot of fun.I enjoy reading this poem as you express the sheer joy of playing in the snow.take care
Edwin
