A Silent Right (Poetry) - 1/12/2009 8:09:11 PM
Very interesting--I don't think I've seen this one before--good imagery!!It helps me to see your life through your signing. perjhaps a silent world is a little more peaceful than the noisy, stressful one of those who can't turn off the sound.
Seasons of the Missouri (Poetry) - 1/12/2009 8:06:26 PM
Lovely flowing prose with a fairly good meter. The vivid descriptions make one feel they are actually there. Good job!!
The Physically Challenged (Poetry) - 1/12/2009 8:05:09 PM
A beautifully stated poem on the realities of the physically handicapped. I believe we are all handicapped in one way or the other--some just aren't as noticeable. To me, you are not handicapped in the way you handle your life, your writing and your dreams.

A strong message here, Thomas, but I don't like the term "phsyically challenged". Never have, never will. Too "politically correct" for my ears. I use the terms "disabled" or "handicapped", say it as it is. I'm not ashamed! :) Still, a good write; well done!

Powerful write; as one who is physically disabled myself, this one spoke volumes to me. (I'm not confined to a wheelchair, but I do walk with two crutches, and I have other issues.) Very well done; bravo!
