Soul Mate Gone
Thus far the quick moment: the quick moment
This escort will be, is wearisome
For all to speak of
And easier for it. Sharing is only a quick moment,
A quick moment passing, a quick moment beyond it
We cannot stop it. It cannot speak, when it will last
From where it brings its authority
Its warmth, its filling,
That it can draw away into the body
Where only it can keep by being, or by
A moment stay,
and it can hold all while tough
With the refuge of talking,
And everything said, and outsides and the cold
Feelings move away
Beyond the way, into the oceans.
I can say now
Peace begins here but for a quick moment.
