Decrescendo (Poetry) - 5/4/2010 3:41:15 PM
WE, AS WOMEN, ARE USUALLY VERY SENSITIVE AND FRAGILE WHEN A RELATIONSHIP GOES BEYOND THE PLATONIC POINT...WE BECOME EMOTIONAL AND FIND IT HARD TO END THIS KIND OF AFFAIR. SO, THIS WELL DONE WORK DOESN'T PULL AT MY HEART STRINGS AT ALL...JUST HIGHLIGHTS THE FACT THAT SOMEONE LOST A GOOD FRIEND, WHOM THEY DID NOT APPRECIATE AND WHOM THEY OBVIOUSLY...DID NOT DESERVE. YOU'VE SAID IT WELL...JUST THE WAY IT SHOULD GO. THANKS FOR SHARING AND GOD BLESS. LOVE, JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

Little Things (Poetry) - 2/8/2010 6:26:31 PM
Marcia is right! Not only is the concept clever, the way you have driven your point home by using a small font re "little" is a stroke of genius! This is not the work of a "handicapped" poet. This is the work of a poet with talent and insight who knows what it is to square off with a challenge and come out on top. Face it, each and every one of us has barriers in he/s way -- physical, psychological, cultural, sociological, and-or emotional -- that tempt us to settle for "little." For some, the barriers are enormous. You are obviously an individual who says, "The bigger the barrier, the sweeter it is to find a way over, under, or around!" You are an i n s p i r a t i o n, Brenda. THANK YOU!! xOx 'Pea' xOx

Little Things (Poetry) - 2/6/2010 12:06:36 PM

BECAUSE THEN I COULD HOPE TO SEE A HAPPY ENDING...'CAUSE...'TOMORROW' IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. THANK YOU BRENDA YOU HAVE SHARED ONE OF YOUR BEST. GOD BLESS. LOVE, JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

Symbolic Love (Poetry) - 2/1/2010 11:09:58 AM
MY ANSWER IS; FOR A WRITER/POET EXPRESSIONS WITH THE PEN IS THERAPY AND WRITING ALWAYS HELPS...BUT BRENN...YOU ALREADY 'KNOW' THIS!....DON'T YOU? A BITTERSWEET WORK... SO ENJOYED. YOU BRING PEOPLE OUT AND INSPIRE. THANKS FOR SHARING AND BLESSINGS. LOVE, JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

Desiring to sample your poetry, I came to this one first. I don't read "R" rated, as a general rule, but I sensed from the beginning that this was worthwhile reading. It's a sad story you have chronicled, so sad. I know a girl personally who had a terrible experience of this nature while drinking at a party. You are talented in poetry, so let me go and read more now. Connie

Penny Wishes (Poetry) - 1/23/2010 10:38:52 AM
THERE COMES A DAY WHEN WE REALIZE THAT EVERYTHING WE HAVE BEEN ALLOWED TO EXPERIENCE IN LIFE WERE ALL THE SO NECESSARY...DONNING US WITH THE 'SUIT' OF ARMOR THE WOULD BE NEEDED TO SURVIVE IN THIS WORLD. WE ARE THE TYPE OF POETS WE ARE TODAY BECAUSE OF ALL WE WENT THROUGH YESTERDAY. IF, THOUGH WE MAY NEVER KNOW WHO UNTIL WE REACH OTHER SHORES, WE DON'T TOUCH BUT ONE LIFE FOR THE BETTER THEN...WE'VE DONE OUR 'TRUE' JOB. NOW I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU, BUT I HAVE FINALLY COME TO THE POINT WHERE I WOULDN'T CHANGE A THING...MOLD ME LORD, USE ME...AS YOU SEE FIT. A POWERFUL WORK ABOUT LEAVING 'CHILDISH' THINGS BEHIND AND BE EMBRACING REALITY. I LOVE IT! YOU DON'T HAVE TO WAIT TO FIND OUT ABOUT THIS ONE WHOM YOU'RE WORKED HAS TOUCHED ME TIME AFTER TIME...TAKING ME BACK TO WHERE I WANT TO GO AND DON'T WANT TO GO...MAKING IT ALL GOOD. I AM GRATEFUL FOR YOU BRENN, YOU ARE MY KIND OF POET. MAY GOD CONTINUE TO INSPIRE YOU AS YOU SHARE YOUR GIFT. LOVE, JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

Question (Poetry) - 12/8/2009 11:23:22 AM
You have certainly given me pause for reflection, Brenda. Thank you. Love and best wishes, Regis

Question (Poetry) - 12/6/2009 5:27:43 PM
WHEN THERE IS MONEY INVOLVED...PEOPLE WILL DO AND SAY ANYTHING...THEY PURPOSELY 'FORGET' THAT IT'S ANOTHER HUMAN BEING RIPPING APART. DO THEY GO ON FORGIVING? YES...IF THEY CAN. WHEN JESUS ANSWERED THE QUESTION, 'HOW MANY TIMES SHOULD A MAN FORGIVE?' WITH THE ANSWER, '7 TIMES 70' IT SHOULD BE UNDERSTOOD THAT WITHOUT CHRIST WE CANNOT DO THIS. THE BIBLE SAYS, 'I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST' AND IT ALSO SAYS, '...THE LIFE THAT I NOW LIVE...CHRIST IN ME LIVES IT'. THIS MEANS THAT WE, OF OURSELVES CANNOT CONTINUOUSLY FORGIVE, BUT JESUS CHRIST IN US...CAN. IT IS NOT EASY...JUST LIKE HIS COMMAND NOT TO FIGHT BACK BUT,'TURN THE OTHER CHEEK SO IT TOO CAN BE SLAPPED', IS NOT EASY. BUT GOD WOULD NOT COMMAND US TO DO ANYTHING THAT WAS NOT POSSIBLE. WE KEEP ON FORGIVING BRYNN...DISTANCING OURSELVES AS BEST AS WE CAN(FEEDING THEM WITH A LONG HANDLED SPOON)AND 'TRUSTING'IN GOD THAT HE WILL 'BUILD A FENCE ALL AROUND US EVERY DAY.' NOW, I KNOW THAT IT HURTS...SURE IT DOES AND WE WONDER WHY? BUT THAT'S WHEN WE HAVE TO REMEMBER THAT WHATEVER GOD ALLOWS TO COME INTO OUR LIVES IS NOT TO TEAR US DOWN, BUT TO BUILD US UP...SPIRITUALLY. PRAYER CHANGES THINGS...HAVING A LITTLE TALK WITH JESUS HELPS AND CAN MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD...LITERALLY. I CAN ONLY ANSWER QUESTIONS FROM THIS POINT OF VIEW BECAUSE THIS IS HOW I WOULD APPROACH THE PROBLEM. THANKS FOR SHARING THIS TIMELY MATTER BRYNN, AND BLESSINGS. JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

Brenda, this is the most beautiful thing I will see today. I'll stop looking. My Dad passed away this year- and that let me now grieve both parents. They left so many treasures- too sentimental to let anything go- if only they knew what that has given me. You better stick around. I could not be more deeply touched. John
