Perishables (Poetry) - 3/13/2013 11:32:01 AM|
I will echo John's comment.
The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and He knows them that put their trust in Him.
Reach out to Jesus. He's reaching out to you. It may sound trite, but there is truth behind it. You can trust someone who loves you enough to Die in your place.
May He lead you.

Well done Ame Ai!
Jesus Christ is what I needed.
He does not perish.
He loves and gives you a life to cherish.
May peace be with you, love surround you and blessings abound you,
Perishables (Poetry) - 3/12/2013 10:23:57 AM
Enough for a lifetime should be enough. I'm reminded of the song, “ Is That All There Is.”
Gotham (Poetry) - 2/19/2013 7:17:15 AM
You are polyvinyl chloride? You have to be careful, don't wear that stuff in a enclosed space or you could be asphyxiated. If you don't have a sidekick, why is your kitten sore? Could it be that you're doing it to yourself? All these things leave a lot of mystery in the mystery city called Gotham.

Hard to find a person who has not fought an addiction of some kind. Smoking and alcoholic drinks are some that come to mind. Happy for you that you got out of their devilish grip.

To Your Past Life (When You Were a Woman) (Poetry) - 11/18/2012 8:32:01 PM
as visceral as it is eviscerating in a philosophical kind of philistinism bent towards feline fatality
To Your Past Life (When You Were a Woman) (Poetry) - 11/16/2012 7:14:18 PM

To Your Past Life (When You Were a Woman) (Poetry) - 11/15/2012 9:22:30 AM
Filled with passionate poison for someone who has hurt deeply. Love the twists and turns and use of language.
Codie, It's Up to You (Poetry) - 11/3/2012 6:49:51 AM
Like so many songs before, if you're going to name the song Codie, perhaps you should incorporate the name into the song? It reads like a blowoff song for someone you still have strong feelings for.

Choice by Numbers (Poetry) - 1/29/2012 11:19:21 AM
If a little eleven leavens the whole lump, I'll take a quarter of the pi... but that's because a crusty guy like I am doesn't buy in to all this past life rhetoric... but that's just o solo mi o... o... o... o... o... o...
as always your poetry is intriguing and controversial...
Be at peace with yourself and all those you meet.

SO TRUE! WHAT GOD HAS INTENDED TO BE YOURS...WILL BE YOURS. WHAT IS NOT INTENDED TO BE YOURS...WILL NOT BE YOURS. THE ONLY WAY TO FIND OUT IF IT WILL BE YOURS OR NOT IS...TO LET IT GO. WELL DONE AND FULL OF WISDOM. THANK YOU FOR SHARING, AME. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
The Secret of Life (with Gabriel Ricard) (Poetry) - 12/22/2011 5:00:19 PM
A delightfully tumultuous conversation, Ame Ai, enjoyed the flow and turns of phrase, particularly 'knife-cut circles'. That's how the whole piece felt as I read, bold, curved and sharp.

God's Clone (Poetry) - 12/21/2011 7:29:07 PM
a liberal foundation for this makeup
a literal foundation for that
I never met a physical I didn't like
but like is such a tepid word
like how most days I feel more like a clod than a cloud
Still you tease me out of thought, stripping away layers...
think I'll go ask Alice... if she feels
like a cloud, when she's ten feet tall... Peace.
Friday (Poetry) - 12/21/2011 7:22:04 PM

Rich and Poor (Poetry) - 11/23/2011 8:25:16 AM
Wow, I hardly know what to say about this one ..... it appears filled with loathing, hatred and bitterness. How very sad and unfair to all adopted children who are loved and wanted.
Seeker's Prayer (Poetry) - 8/16/2010 5:12:52 PM
Your words have given me pause for reflection, Ame Ai. Thank you. Love and best wishes,
