On It Goes (Poetry) - 3/9/2004 3:50:27 PM
(((cade))) thank you for reminding us of that awful day, when innocent lives and seemingly unpregnable buildings were brought down or damaged in a rain of terror. you've captured so many people's actions today in compelling lines, such as "...turning that blind eye seeing only what you want to see ignoring the day that lives on in many so many moments now never to be..." and "...turn away if you have to look right through if you must we're still waiting for the fires to dim for an end to the embers and dust..." (((cade))), believe me, i will always remember and never forget. although i didn't lose anyone, i know people that did. my heart breaks for them. (((HUGS))) and love, karla. *tears*

We All Fall Down (Poetry) - 8/6/2003 10:56:13 PM
Good write. Nice verse. Powerful message. Living in the moment, "seeing" the present, truly connecting to our world and to those with whom we share it is the essential "business" of our fleeting time on this planet. Curious that so many squander this precious gift. Saying final good-byes to loved ones can remind us of what really matters and help us focus.
