"Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." We do not see God but we know He is, we cannot touch Him but we know He listens, and we can always praise Him because of His great Love, we receive His answers!

Wonderful poem and a strong reminder for all of us. Autism comes from genetic error and does not really come from God, but neverthless, He allows the children to be born (not die in pregnancy) because He knows how to turn around adverse situations into good (Joseph & his brothers). Your poem also reminded me of my playmate years ago who was autistic but we did not know about it and we did not care - we just played with her all day.

PAST AND PRESENT © (Poetry) - 12/31/2009 6:33:55 PM
But you are the author we read consistently and your words are ever the PRESENT in message and weight. Excellence is rare - like your writing.

Well chosen words that not only rhyme but also convey deep meanings for life application. I like the last lines and the pome left me thinking and reflecting.

UNFINISHED© (Poetry) - 12/31/2009 6:26:56 PM
"Suicide is painless" goes the song, but though the departed may no longer suffer pain, those left behind linger on with the longings and regrets. These thoughts put into words release that pain, and I for one, can relate to it. Thanks for this. Cynthia
