Pamela, Time and space cannot hold love, as you have exemplified in this write. Thank you for sharing this...and very cool the symbol.

Lovely tribute to someone obviously held in very high esteem by both you and your son. Nice job.

Sweet. This brought a smile, and a laugh. Especially the high maintenance line. Of course, I don't know anything about that, but... anyways, enjoyed.

What a beautiful tribute to your Mother. You have perfectly described the relationship between me and my daughter. Enjoyed this very much.

I was afraid of the dark growing up. But to certain extend have n't gotten over it, to a certain extent. But i dare you to sleep in a dark room with a dead body. lol. I like the way you explained.

My Mom (Poetry) - 5/9/2009 5:18:18 PM
Very nice. All mothers should do their best for their children. All mothers should be so blessed to be honored in this way by grown children who can appreciate what they received.
Darkness (Poetry) - 1/11/2009 3:32:22 AM
Now THAT is the way to write the Dark!!! I share your interest in the authors listed on your bio, plus H.P. Lovecraft, all masters of the Dark. Write on!

I am disappointed I am waiting for the darkside to
overflow the pages....come back and tell me more...
Darkness (Poetry) - 1/1/2006 3:28:11 PM
I'm one of these crazy people who will read ghost stories by the campfire, walk into the woods at night, and turn off the flashlight for a while just for kicks. Do some of us ever lose that thrill of being a little bit afraid of the dark?
Darkness (Poetry) - 12/14/2005 8:05:27 PM
Compelling and gripping write, Pamela. Thank you for sharing it. Love and peace.

It is amazing what imagination can do to you in the dark and strength is needed to overcome it. Nice write.
Darkness (Poetry) - 12/6/2005 5:31:41 AM
this is intense, creative and a joy to read. You have taken one of the primal childhood fears and made it all that more frightening. Splendid work, Pamela
Darkness (Poetry) - 10/31/2005 5:07:19 PM
It is very deep dark and it takes you into your deepest thoughts
of all black Magick beyond belief. Jody
Darkness (Poetry) - 10/28/2005 9:47:52 PM
How dark is dark? How black is black is black? The amplification of this poem, how bizarre, throws light on a dream image, very Jungian. Perhaps Darkness is a tool we use to protect ourselves although there is no rule-of-thumb interpretation. I am also interpreting this poem as Dark Magick that perhaps has gone cold, leaving it even darker. This is a real mind-bender. Thought-provoking write, Pamela.
