McKnight's Memory - Frank Sinatra Jr. narrates audio-book with top stars. (Book) - 10/29/2007 9:42:40 AM
I was astounded at the flow of the story, the film quality special sound affects and the multiple voices on this audio-book. I have never-ever heard any other audio book like this one. Each character has a unique voice! Each scene is set with audio sound affects that make the audio book sound more like you are listening to a feature film than an audio book. The work comes alive and keeps your head spinning from start to finish. This is a MUST OWN if you are into audio books!

The Complete James Bond Lifestyle Seminar (Book) - 1/9/2004 8:10:53 AM
Shipmates, I have just found a resource for every sailor of life. The Crew who have been aboard for more than a short cruise know that I have written often of Paul Kyriazi and his motivational book Bondlife. I most recently have had the pleasure of plundering a copy of The Complete James Bond Lifestyle Seminar on audiotape. What follows is going to be my impression of this incredible audio book. I never realized the power of logic and simplicity until I listed to The Complete James Bond Lifestyle Seminar on audiotape. Paul Kyriazi takes a theme, the James Bond lifestyle, and breaks it down into its basic component parts and combines scientific study, logic and fun to create a realistic, logical and motivating audio book that is easy to follow and worth its weight in gold sovereigns. The audio book is recorded professionally and of high quality. Paul reads the work personally and his voice is crisp, and crystal clear. A bond girl reads the chapter titles and this nicely break up the material into simple related sections. The work has a logical progression that you can gently follow. Your mind just follows the logical progression of actions and the 90 minutes fly by. You will find this audio book one highly motivating postively charged adventure that will have wind in your sails in LESS THAN 90 Minutes! Sail on... sail on!!!

Lee Marvin Silences Vegas Vic (Article) - 6/18/2013 2:32:51 AM
I usually just change hotels myself, Paul. But I think Lee might have had something there. Next time I travel I think I'll bring a bow and arrow with me just in case. Just kidding!!!

Lee Marvin Silences Vegas Vic (Article) - 6/17/2013 4:58:59 AM
Very interesting. Vegas Vic reminds me of Big Tex, who also suffered a setback last year when he burned. Icons may become legend, but they don't last forever. I hear that Napoleon used a cannon for target practice on the Spinks nose. Ron

20 Soldiers Defeat 150,000 Soldiers (Article) - 6/10/2013 7:34:44 PM
Very true, Ron. Those where the old days when men had nothing better to do but kill for power. It does illustrate (in the negative) how reputation can be powerful. I take the positive. EX: A new contact was to meet me at a hotel lobby, but called the contact (before cell phones) and said, "Paul's not here." My contact said, "You're in the wrong place, because Paul is always on time." And he was in the wrong place.

20 Soldiers Defeat 150,000 Soldiers (Article) - 6/10/2013 6:04:07 AM
Inspiring… proves that deceit will get you everything. War stories are all about winning. Although I guess I have read about how the supposedly great general Napoleon Bonaparte sacrificed his army to the Russian winter. War is stupid. Always has been. Ron

Edd 'Kookie' Byrnes Stalked for his 3 Million Dollar Vegas Win (Article) - 6/8/2013 7:52:21 PM
Thanks for another interesting slice of life behind the scenes in Hollywood. I never knew Byrnes won $3 mil at the slots. That must have kept him in combs for a couple of years. :)

For Clark Gable Fans Only (Article) - 6/6/2013 2:50:22 AM
Was Clark Gable a class act? No...he really was class.

For Clark Gable Fans Only (Article) - 6/5/2013 7:18:24 AM
Thanks for sharing the story. It looks like Gable could get into character anytime he needed! I finally got around to watching the movie, “The Misfits.” Not only did the story reveal his treatment of animals in a very poignant way, it revealed the character of each of the actors in incredible way. They were all drunk, and their drunkenness revealed who the characters really were. Both Marilyn Monroe and Gable were sterling in their performances. I will have to watch more old movies in the future. Ron

For Clark Gable Fans Only (Article) - 6/4/2013 5:03:30 PM
Great story, Paul. I saw Lee Marvin on TV tell a story of a young woman who was getting Gable's autograph. She looked into Gable's eyes, and fainted. He caught her in his arms. When she came to, she looked into his eyes again and passed out again. Marvin said "Now that's what I call a star with sex appeal!"

Marlene Dietrich Teaches Ruth Gordon (Article) - 3/29/2013 7:23:24 AM
"From that point on, I had to learn how to put myself across to express who I was and not rely on what I was wearing or what I looked like.” Indeed, these are wise words. And yes, I believe they also link to the very heart of the James Bond Lifestyle.

Elvis Presley and Kim Kardashian's Twitter Power (Article) - 3/23/2013 5:00:49 AM
Paul, you are more than correct. Building an online presence today is critical. With the exception of course for Pirates and super secret 007 agents who are in hiding! Great post.

Steve Allen's First Date with Jane Meadows (Article) - 3/22/2013 2:00:19 AM
Good advice Paul.. Whenever I think of Steve...two of his stories come to mind.... "The other night I was sitting in the livingroom reading a book. I took off my glasses and rubbed my eyes. Just then Jayne peeked in but didn't see me, so she flicked off the light switch. When I opened my eyes, Immediate thought...Oh God, now I've done it! Last week three guys showed up at my front door to pick up my piano. They had a hard time getting out of the livingroom and unto to the truck, so I tipped them ten bucks apiece. When Jayne came home I asked her, Honey the men came to pick up the piano. What was wrong with it? She replied, "What men?"

Steve Allen's First Date with Jane Meadows (Article) - 3/21/2013 6:23:44 PM
I followed Steve Allen's career since his first days on the Tonight show. His talents were virtually limitless. He wrote the Meeting of Minds episodes, starred in them, wrote more than 50 books, and once wrote 1,000 songs in one week on a bet. He could create an entire composition on the piano after hearing just three notes selected at random. His stories could make you laugh or cry--at his option. Who but Steve Allen would take the beautiful Jayne Meadows "to the moon" on their first date? Thanks for this reminder of America's most talented man.

Boris Karloff's Work Ethic (Article) - 12/18/2012 2:20:39 PM
Paul, what an amazing coincidence, I have just recently being watching old episodes of "Thriller" on a locally owned network that just started airing older shows. Great blog! Very informative and interesting!

Dennis Hopper's First Bad Trip (Article) - 11/11/2012 6:25:25 AM
That explains a lot, Paul.

Schwarzenegger Paid for Cameron's Terminator Lunch (Article) - 10/18/2012 5:12:41 AM
Ahhh...America...ain't it amazing? Arnold's success reminds me of Yakov Smirnoff's success. When Yakov immigrated to to America he only knew a few words in English. When the immigration agent asked in Russian, "What type of work are planning to do here?" Yakov replied in Russian, "I am going to be a comedian." After a hearty laugh, The agent replied, "That'll work."

Did 007 Sleep with Moneypenny? (Article) - 10/14/2012 2:07:14 AM
It just wouldn't have worked any other way. Had Bond married Moneypenny we'd probably be discussing Arthur Nash...doubleO8 today.

Sinatra & Wayne Refused Dirty Harry (Article) - 10/9/2012 6:50:32 AM
Waynes advice to Michael Cain- "Walk slow, talk slow, and don't say too many words, and you will be a big star."

Sinatra & Wayne Refused Dirty Harry (Article) - 10/6/2012 9:05:26 AM
Paul, Great information from inside the business!!! Love these!!! ...Michael

Sinatra & Wayne Refused Dirty Harry (Article) - 10/5/2012 3:14:20 AM
Amazing the way things work out, Paul. Clint Eastwood was Dirty Harry...the same as Clark Gable was Rhett Butler...I guess it was in the stars.

Fess Parker's Business Advice (Article) - 9/21/2012 9:44:41 AM
I remember seeing him as the Pilot in the hosptial scene in THEM. I also remember seeing a young Clinton Eastwood wearing glasses, a lab coat and having two or three lines in The Creature From the Black Lagoon. Good Article, Paul.

How John Wayne Branded Himself (Article) - 9/15/2012 2:48:57 AM
Ah...The Duke…. War hero, frontiersman, cowboy, gun fighter, tough guy? ... Not really. Naturally Talented Actor?…not so much… Great Actor? … Indeed he was ... because he worked hard at his trade and always met his audiences' expectations. Well done, Paul,
