Several people who have applied this book's protocol have lost body fat, lowered cholesterol and improved energy levels.

Nutrition scientist (Emeritus) Bill Misner tested Professor T. Colin Campbell's best selling book "The China Study," which argues in favor of eating only Whole Plant Food. Campbell's data demonstrate that millions of rural Chinese consume nearly 2700 calories per day mostly from whole plant foods, yet they average a slim body mass index of only 21.0 BMI. Americans average consuming around 2000 calories per day mostly from animal source foods, yet the average BMI in the USA is an obese 27.0! Misner examined how eating only whole plant foods would influence his body mass index (BMI) and blood cholesterol for a 90-day period. His previous 20-year cholesterol levels ranged between 217-232. After removing all animal source foods and eating only whole plant foods for 90-days, his BMI decreased from a healthy-normal 22.0 to a slim 20.5 and his total cholesterol went from 232 down to 151mg/dL. He then spent 9-months writing his experiences in easily understood terms and published a book entitled "Phytonutrition: Finding Fitness for Life!" The retired scientist says he is persuaded that this nutrition protocol not only "Works for me," but claims he has observed several people resolve serious health issues utilizing the same dietary intervention.

All proceeds from sales of "Phytonutrition: Finding Fitness for Life!" are donated to the T. Colin Campbell Foundation.
